I have just received a wii controller I brought off ebay from a uk seller but the box and instructions are in Japenese. Am I right in thinking this will still work ok?

Not necessarily. That's almost certainly someone who thought they were buying a bundle. The "5 sports games" is technically true but potentially misleading as they're referring to the 5 games that come with the console anyway.

You could be right, but if I was forking out that sort of money for anything I would check & double check that I was getting what I thought I was getting.

I think the controller should be ok its just the games that are a different standard

I think that was a mistake! - I got one of those aswell for my mate, paid £182 from Amazon on Wed - arrived today. When I told him, he said he needed another one, so, got another one today with Billy Wizz, and that was £202. They must have not realised, or the joker that puts them on 1 at a time at midnight had a bit of a guilt trip!

Game had a decent bundle in today in St.Helens, but I'm not going to start guessing what games people want - the basic bundle should be:
Console - £180
Wii Play - £40 (for the extra controller)
Nunchuck £17
Total £237

i brought one that is japanese and have been told it works fine...
