FACT - GAME now own Gamestation.
GAME sell the DS for £99.99 and bundles starting at £109. GAME are out of stock.
Gamestation sell bundles only starting at £150. Gamestation have loads of stock.
Hmmmm. Fishy?
Not an entirely true fact, but mostly right.
The purchase has not been rubber stamped yet as it has gone to the Monopolies commision, so they would not have any direct control over them yet.0 -
That was 3 weeks ago!! Think a lot of people could have got them easy enough 3 weeks ago. Its now that they are running low on stocks.
Begs the question why people didn't buy them three weeks ago rather than waiting until now. Though the one we bought was not a christmas present.
I had not heard there was problem with the DS supplies that is why if it is allowed to make comments that I found hard to believe that people where having problems. Getting hold of them if it had been a Wii then everyone knows about the shortage.

Some of us don't have reliable children who can give us reliable Santa letters until the pre-Christmas excitement begins to bite, that's why!
Thanks all for tips: my sister's looking for one for her girl + hopefully now she will have some success.0 -
Too true, my eldest said just over a month ago he wanted a DS for xmas, then he changed his mind ! I was like arghh...then just when I found a bundle I liked in Game, he tells me he doesnt want one after all
Turns out he was only saying that coz he thought it would cost too much money and he didnt think I could afford it (bless him) So now the hunt was on...
Still waiting for my bundle I bought from Gamestation, but they have taken the money outta my bank today so I am hopeful for it to arrive next week
Next year they are gonna get a x box 360 between them but I am gonna buy that in the summer & hide it lolBest wins

kids at times ask for things and sometimes it's too late :eek:Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0 -
Hi all,
I recently won a white DS Lite in a competition, but my son already has one. After reading all your horror stories I wanted to help at least one person out, so I am posting here and offering it to anyone who has posted in this thread. It's never been used and comes with Super Mario Bros.
I'll take £85 for it; the first poster who PMs me and agrees can have it for that. I am in the UK. I can take a cheque (although it would have to clear before I could send it), or Paypal (as long as it's not funded from a credit card). PM me if you have any questions, or want photos. I hope this can help someone out!0
