Bounce back loan Santander

My bounce-back loan was approved last Friday (15 May), it is now Thursday (21 May) and I'm still waiting to see the money. Yesterday I spoke to several people at Santander, they can give me no timescale or explanation, they just say they're busy. It's pathetic.0

Welcome to the club, I signed my agreement on the 8th and had nothing. I read a lot of people who applied on the 4th got paid yesterday, which is just over 2 weeks. Hang tight, expect to wait a couple weeks at least. You may be lucky and get it earlier.

I applied last Monday, got obligatory email Tuesday saying they had received application, received second message on Wednesday saying sorry for delay but they were trying, got another email on Friday asking for proof of trading address (sole trader so home address). I replied with documents immediately, yesterday (Wednesday) I received yet another request for documents...this time proof of residential address, which I sent immediately. I’ve banked with them for 20 years personal and 7 years business also. I phoned them today to ask what the hell is going on, everyone else I know that uses different bank gas already had theirs? They said they are just busy and I should hear this week. We shall see, but I will be seriously considering voting with my feet when this is all over. Many other banks stopped charging for business use and overdrafts but not Santander. So what exactly have they done to help in these difficult times?obrienkenobi said:
Similar to me then in that I'm a Sole Trader with a Santander business account for 3 years. But I've had nothing since applying on the morning of the 4th. It all just seems a bit of a mess.bagpussofsussex said:I applied online last Tuesday afternoon (5th May). Got an email with documents and requesting that I sign it last night (Mon 11th May) about 8pm, which I did as soon as I received it. Money arrived in my account mid morning today (Tuesday 12th May) - I wasn’t asked for any further documentation.
I’m a sole trader and have had a basic santander business account for about 3 years now.1 -

My bounce back loan was approved on 4th May, got told it would be in my account within 24 hours, still waiting, must of meant 24 days, so should be in by next week. You can’t even get an update, talk about stress, the banks are causing more, health starts to come into play. I thought I was the only one, all other banks have paid out within 48 hours0

Now they tell me 'something' has failed but they don't know what! I've lived at the same address for decades. I have no criminal record. My credit history is squeaky clean, my credit rating is sky-high. Maybe it's that parking ticket I got in the 1980s. The circus continues.strawpanda said:My bounce-back loan was approved last Friday (15 May), it is now Thursday (21 May) and I'm still waiting to see the money. I was apparently approved on the 4th and advised on the 6th money would be in my account in 24 hours.... Nothing since... I have been chasing and get excuse after excuse.... needless to say I will be moving banks when i find out if I do or don't get it.0

Its been 2 weeks since I signed, and nothing. I am reading on twitter people who signed on the 5th getting paid yesterday, but then people who sign on Friday getting paid the next day on a Saturday. So I am not going by time frames on this anymore.I spoke to someone who has escalated my case, not sure why it needs to be escalated. I have provided everything they have asked for, I am not sure what is going on in the back, but it seems something clearly is not right.0

The latest story is that there was a glitch in the IT Dept. a week ago and 'it's being looked into'. It's a joke.strawpanda said:
