Does the driver not know that you should stop on street to go to the post office, and if they are dropping off a parcel they can use double yellow lines?
I feel like I am bashing my head against a brick wall every time I have to point out to drivers NOT TO SEEK OUT A CAR PARK to stop for 5 minutes. This is what the public street, bays and lines are for, as long as you understand what you can and can't do on single or double yellows (which do not mean 'no stopping').PRIVATE 'PCN'?
