So from reading this thread the issue will not be resolved to the OP's not the forum regulars satisfaction.pumpkin20 said:I have recent paid £85 to TNC on March during the covid 19 has already started and lockdown, today I get a phone call from TNC telling to pay the remaining £85 which I don't have, I tried explaining im short without they decided to tell me my fine will increase if I don't pay today.
What do I do about this as I have no money to pay them in full.???
Pumpkin20, the regulars here will say you shouldn't have paid any money. I understand you probbably got worried when reading the demand letters.
Now you have paid some money the matter becomes frustrating for the regulars.
As a guess I suspect part payment means you'll have to pay the rest as you have effectively agreed to the contract and it's conditional offer. Others might know better.0 -
The above poster is completely and utterly wrong4

It will depend on what was agreed over the phone, but we dont know because the OP hasnt told us.3

TNC COLLECTIONS are not party to any contract , they are simply debt collectos3 -
Thats fine but by paying part of what's being asked for doesn't that mean the offer and acceptance part of a contract is in place? So whoever the original ppc company is now have grounds for payment?twhitehousescat said:

is there a contract between TNC and the OP , ? if there was , is there a hard copy available , signed , or even an electronic copy TNC are not in a poswotion to offer a contract , and in fact the fee demanded by the paking co was £100 (max by law) not the figure they quotedScrapit said:
