Congrats, sure it was worth the wait.

I am hoping Santander are paying out in a similar time frame to HSBC, I applied on the 7th, signed on the 8th and going round in circles pulling my hair out waiting.

I know someone who applied with HSBC in the morning a few days ago and received the money the same night.

I am not sure the process of how they are paying people, or if they are prioritising. But it seems they have no set way of doing it.

The process is confusing! the person applied same day, receive and signed the agreement from echo same day and received funds same day?

I applied on the 11th and I received a confirmation with ref number same day, till date I have not received docs from echo to sign talk less of  funds! Phew!!

    Quick update

So I signed echo sign docs on the 12th, I was told on the 15th funds would be available in 24 hours .

This morning 17th , received echosign documents again asking to sign, despite having a conformation email for signing the last time,  just called hsbc to query and they’re closed .
  • I’ve just checked my account, I wasn’t going to bother as it’s the weekend but would you believe it went in yesterday!! Hooray!! Now to tackle HMRC as I haven’t been invited to claim my 3 months worth of average profits - the joys of self employment! Good luck everyone 😬

When did you sign your echcosign documents? I signed mine on Thursday 14th May and still no money!

I signed my agreement last Saturday so it took exactly a week to arrive in my account but there doesn’t seem to be any pattern to the payments procedure, hopefully yours will arrive quicker than mine.

Thanks for that, I hold out little hope. HSBC have to be the worst for effort and communication. It seems that they just don't care about small businesses who are lifeblood of our ecconemy. Other banks have managed BBL in a timely manner - Barclays even paid compensation to customers for a slight delay! Come on HSBC, at least respond to us critics.

Hi so I applied for our BBL with HSBC on the 4th – got the confirmation straight way – then got email saying that they'd send documents through on echo-sign on the 10th – have heard nothing since. Was wondering if I needed to apply again?
