Has anyone applied for the HSBC feeder account? I applied on Monday 11th May on the phone for the feeder account, gave name, address, phone, email, business name, nature of business and how much I was looking to borrow, but so far heard nothing. This is all before even applying for the BBL

I applied at 8am on Tuesday the 5th. Got a call on The 7th talking me through the forms I  was filling in online. I signed all that was needed and sent off  didnt hear anything until the 9th with an email saying they received my copies. That's it since, not heard anything else
  • Made a call to open an HSBC feeder account as Cater Allen (Santander) not in scheme. Got a very helpful call back to help with application on 7th May. Response when I chase is simply to wait - they cannot give timescale due to volumes etc. This week, next week or decline? Piling stress on stress.

Just to give hope to others I thought I would let you know how I have got on with my loan application.

I am a sole trader with a personal HSBC account.  I also receive income from paid employment which exceeds the profit, but not the turnover.

I applied for a BBL on Sunday 10th May (for the full amount I could claim), I am assuming the earliest that would be processed would be Monday 11th.  I sent my 2018/19 tax return with the application which details all of my income for that tax year.

I received a confirmation email straightaway and then nothing until today (just after 4pm) when I received my Echo sign email confirming that my application had been successful.  I have signed the documents and I now assume I have to wait and the funds will appear in my account.

I hope that this gives hope to those of you waiting and wondering if your application is going through.

I applied on the 13th but didnt get a email and after hearing on here that it was 50/50 as to some got a email after applying, I decided to reapply on the 14th and got a email with a ID number, today I got a the esign form for the first application and sent it back little while ago. So keep in there and even if you didn't get a email after applying it still happens

Also I am a sole trader and applied on the basis of using my personal HSBC account.

I see Starling bank has rejected over 2000 applicants if they have poor credit rating or deemed to be at high risk to lending even though the scheme is 100% backed by the government. Wonder if the rest of the banks will follow suit.

Has anyone who has applied through the HSBC bank been rejected?

Are they accepting 2019/20 tax returns or any other means of proof for nearly brand new sole traders?

Is echosign part of opening a feeder account, or is it for existing business customers also?
