Yes, you can but it must always be one application Latvia time. If you'd cancel your application with HSBC first, that leaves you free to apply elsewhere. Just make sure you don't leave yourself hanging without any options. 
I've applied with HSBC about 2 weeks ago and kind of hopeful, as it me exactly a month to het the business account while some people that applied for Feeders account and Business accounts respectively since May/June are still waiting for a response. 
So  my suggestion is that you keep your options open.

On July 8 I applied for HSBC feeder account , waited until August 8th to get confirmation of account opening . I applied for the BBL loan and since then I haven’t heard anything back from HSBC. I have called about twice , and they confirm they still in process . Any suggestions how to go about it as this whole process has been frustrating . Regards

My advise is wait. I'm in the same boat as yourself. I applied on the 15th of August and keeping the faith that somehow, they'll get back to me someday soon. 
Alternatively, already stated in the previous page, you'd have to cancel your application with HSBC before trying your luck elsewhere.
With that being said, I'm wishing you all the very best just as much as I wish my humble self😎🤞

I have no confidence in trying to cancel it when i can't even get any idea how long it's going to take.

I have a business account with them for the past 10 years. i don't even need to set up a feeder account. Is there anyway i can ask how my application is progress? Is there a number which might be useful?

There are various threads on here that address this sort of question, but if you have a business account at HSBC, they should provide a BBL.

I tried mate, the line was "never-ending" busy.
I've now written to my local MP for assistance. Fingers crossed, pretty soon it'll be my turn to write "you have been approved"😎🤞
