HSBC Bounce back loan

really disappointed to HSBC.
got an email yesterday saying that I am not a UK resident, so I need to hand-in my approval document again in branch.
went today, giving them my uk passport and council tax letter as reference at around 13:30.
13:41 received an email saying that my business current account application is rejected.
what the hack is HSBC doing!?

Just received BBLS yesterday. Applied on the 10th of May, signed the document on the 9th of June. It took ages but finally can bounce back!

Congratulations, I bet you’re relieved! Did HSBC let you know why it took so long to send the funds to you?

Just done the depressing call to telephone banking, nothing yet ... 

I'm trying to be patient and not to worry but... Urgh, it's like some kind of mental torture. 

It's great to hear others are finally getting somewhere though 😊

It’s so frustrating! Did they give any kind of revised timeframe on the phone, or a reason why there’s a delay at least? Going to call them Monday afternoon if funds aren’t in

It's just the cheery automated lady enthusiastically telling me about coronavirus and then my balance (which isn't fun) ! So no, no reasons. 

It was such a relief to get the docs to sign but now the wait is getting old 🤣

heading for my 6th week in this saga now, anyone else here in week 6 want to give me a high five ✋ !? Applied with my personal First Direct account and had to open a feeder, it's a very quiet place here. My partner in contrast applied on a friday with natwest and had the money by the next wednesday. Definitely not having a biz account puts you on the hard shoulder, not even the slow lane i'd say.

I applied on the 19th of may and still heard nothing back, ive only had the email with saying my application has vwen received. Its so annoying when i know friends of mine had recieved all of theirs the following day. Im tempted to try with a different bank if thos goes on much longer.
