After application on the 6th and echosign docs returned on the 12th May, after it didn't happen and literally 13 hours on the phone over 3 weeks i was formally declined on May 28 after being told the funds would be in the account in 48 hours on the 12th of MAY!
This of course upset me somewhat. i was give NO reasons for the rejection and no explanation as to why. I was told the funds would automatically draw down from the 12th MAY.
on June 1 i emailed everyone i could think of, this was, Judith Ford, Noel Quinn, Ian Stuart and Rishi Sunak. 
It was a long and polite email stating facts about the situation but also mentioning one major fact being  : "my business is eligible for bbls" and i can provide any and all info required should it be asked for.
I Heard Nothing until Friday 5th (last Friday) a lady called Kelly called and said they have re visited my application and it is now going through!

TODAY MONDAY 8th : BBL account setup with the funds in (not showing available yet) 

So it looks like its finally happened . interestingly enough i have had a reply from the commercial complaints team today as well saying they will come back to me in 3 days with an answer , coincidence? maybe but i assume the funds will be cleared by then!

This is the problem with HSBC, No consistency. 

I had a email from the complaints department on the 2nd of June after I made a complaint telling me it had been handed to someone to look into. I emailed again on the 4th and 5th asking when this case handler was going to be in touch but no reply. Today I got a reply telling me someone would be in touch in 5 days 🙄, so some people told 3 days, some like me 4 days. 

Then there is the inconsistency with dates of when people get their email or funds. Some like me who applied on the 4th of May have had nothing. Some that applied 7 days ago have had there funds already and what’s worst I was speaking to a non Hsbc customer who told me they applied last week and had there email, feeder account and funds by the end of the week. 

It’s all crazy and Hsbc should be ashamed of themselves

Another update : funds are now in the current account . Done dusted 

I’m still absolutely speechless at the dire service received by HSBC but I suppose all’s we’ll that ends well

I applied on the 6th may for bbl and still waiting to hear. I did have a call from HSBC on my voicemail saying they would call me back later that day I’m still waiting 2 weeks later for that call back I have tried calling HSBC everyday to be told they can’t tell me anything. I have emailed a complaint and been told by 2 different emails departments that neither of them can deal with my complaint. I think HSBC has got to be the worst customer service going .

Well HSBC have basically slow walked me to the end of the road. Applied on the 12th and heard nothing despite several calls, emails, complaints. Not able to open an account with the other banks as they aren't taking in any applications and Starling say that you can express an interest and you will be invited to apply so no use at all, plus you make a statement saying you haven't applied elsewhere. So that's it for us, ran out of time and money so closing the door end of this week when the last job has been finished... absolutely furious that we have been let down like this..

Really sorry to hear that. It’s a disgrace and Hsbc are a disgrace they way they are dealing with all this

We are well over a month waiting now - going to have to email complaints as no one will tell us what is going on.

I applied on the 14th May, Received acknowledgement. No Echo docs arrived or signed. However logged into my account this morning to see a BBL loan account showing the amount of the loan applied but not yet available, this is without any documents signed!! I sent the CEO an email which was followed up by their complaints dept last week and not heard anything since so this may have given them a nudge but how can they send funds without a signed agreement from me?  

** Update - echo sign docs received this morning, lets see how long the funds take to clear

Morning. I require help whilst being able to offer information that may help others! I've applied for 3 BBL's, 2 through HSBC (the other one with LLoyds that flew through no issue!) Of the 2 HSBC ones we have 1 outstanding predicament, the other one was solved by re-appling, we applied for these the 1st/2nd day initially, The one I had heard nothing from I re-applied for last week, received the signature document in days and accessible money days after, so don't be scared to re-apply as I was initially.

The outstanding one is currently showing showing on online banking however it is not accessible as though it is in a seperate account, I've noticed a few post similiar scenarios but no mention if this changed over time or how? Ours has been like that 10 days, as thought it may just clear but seems that is not the case?

2 different companies, its been "in" for about 10 days, so thought it'd have cleared by now!
