    Who told you that?
    This is one of the declarations on the HSBC acc.
    "Have you already applied and received the funds of an existing Covid-19 scheme: *"
    So you may have applied but you have not received your money - so nothing stopping you applying again.
    Anyone who has a LTD co should be applying to their current bank as you would have passed all the KYC and AML requirements.


    I was told not to reapply by one of Amanda Murphy’s team. He said it causes more problems because it comes up as a duplicate 

    How are you getting along? Any luck?

    An update as promised. Friday received echosign documents at 3:30pm . Sent back within the hour! Funds cleared Sunday pm at 6:30. Got there in the end. I hope all you guys get the help you need soon.

    1st Application on the 6th of May with a mistake, 2nd on 8th of May then one on the 19th of May. Unsure which one was successful. It is worth talking to telephone banking NOT the COVID-19 helpdesk.

    Were you an existing HSBC Personal customer?
    Or a business banking customer?

    I'm at the 4 week stage with no communication other than signing the auto reply confirmation with acknowledgement number. Have been on the phone several times with no result other than told to wait. Have emailed the 2 'important people' listed on this thread with no reply to date from either.

    It seems we can only properly gauge any waiting times  from those who applied just the once - so for the record I applied just once 1 month ago with no response so far.  Is anyone on here (who applied once) been waiting 5, 6 or even more weeks in this farce.  :-(

    Hi, I have been with HSBC business banking about 5 years now.
    I applied BBLS on 26th May. Received automated e-mail shortly. No response after that. I have read all of this forum & assume it would take about 3weeks or a month?
    My friend has Barclays with her business and she received BBLS fund within 48hours since her application. Should I consider about changing bank account after this? HSBC is really disappointing this time.

    Yes I found it while surfing on google but it doesn’t say where to send so I was thinking if I bring it to the branch if that will work?

    Good Morning all,
    My Update : 
    After application on the 6th and echosign docs returned on the 12th May, after it didn't happen and literally 13 hours on the phone over 3 weeks i was formally declined on May 28 after being told the funds would be in the account in 48 hours on the 12th of MAY!
    This of course upset me somewhat. i was give NO reasons for the rejection and no explanation as to why. I was told the funds would automatically draw down from the 12th MAY.
    on June 1 i emailed everyone i could think of, this was, Judith Ford, Noel Quinn, Ian Stuart and Rishi Sunak. 
    It was a long and polite email stating facts about the situation but also mentioning one major fact being  : "my business is eligible for bbls" and i can provide any and all info required should it be asked for.
    I Heard Nothing until Friday 5th (last Friday) a lady called Kelly called and said they have re visited my application and it is now going through!

    TODAY MONDAY 8th : BBL account setup with the funds in (not showing available yet) 

    So it looks like its finally happened . interestingly enough i have had a reply from the commercial complaints team today as well saying they will come back to me in 3 days with an answer , coincidence? maybe but i assume the funds will be cleared by then!

  • UPDATE: We got funds today! 
    Overview in case it helps:
    HSBC customer, applied on 4th May £50,000.
    Made various phone calls, tried to enlist help of Relationship Manager etc
    Re-applied May 22nd as advised by Relationship Manager
    Various phone calls, getting nowhere
    Emailed CEO as advised on here  and made complaint through HSBC website 3rd June
    HSBC CALLED US!! to discuss complaint 5th June
    Echosign forms finally received at noon on Saturday 6th June.
    Money in account  today.
