After all this another email from Virgin Atlantic which puts the ball back in Travel Republics court,                  ""To request a refund, your travel agent can make a request using the BSP Link. They also have additional access to our website, where they will find plenty of resources to assist them with either amending or refunding your reservation. If they do require any further assistance, they are welcome to contact our Sales Support team directly, who will be happy to help."
Cannot see an end to this.

That suggests your agent has not submitted the ticket for a refund. Virgin has refused to accept the usual route for refunds, BSPlink is their way of delaying payment, the current estimate is 120 days after the request is made, but you need to chase TR and see what stage if at all, the refund request is at.

I would not hold out much hope of Virgin dealing with this any time soon.
Your card is likely your faster route to resolving this. You have been advised to gather evidence of the cancelled flight  and go back to your card company. Have you done so?
Did you begin a chargeback request and/or a section 75 request?

We have been chasing TR for months, from the start of lockdown to be precise, its so hard to contact a company that does not give you any obvious chance to contact them. Especially now through the website as obviously we have no reservation so no booking number that is valid. Believe you me we are trying, it is so frustrating.
