    I would raise a complaint against your card company,  they should not be refusing a Chargeback.

    We do not have any reply from Virgin, only TR, the card want to see cancellations. Neither company bothered even to tell us the flight was cancelled. We are stuck.

    we'd been monitoring the situation in the weeks leading up to the departure, the flight just disappeared

    We had been trying to contact Virgin by phone and emails since lockdown but got nowhere.
    So we were booked on VS0005 10th May at 11am out of Heathrow to Miami.

    Then last time VS5 flew was the 16th March 2020 try to summit this to your credit card and tell them, they can confirm it with the airline if they want.

    So both virgin and TR had plenty of time to contact us. Well more phone calls, thankyou.

    Have now received first text from Virgin Atlantic which says,

    Hi there, you’re speaking with Frances today! Thank you so much for bearing with us whilst we respond to unprecedented number of customers whose travel plans are impacted by Covid-19.

    The reference are not being recognised in my system I'm afraid. I have checked the tickets and it looks like this was booked through a third party/travel agent.

    If this is correct, you would need to contact them and they would be able to arrange this refund for you.

    So back to Travel Republic, taking the p now both blaming each other
