Self-Employed 80% help. Should be eligible but apparently not...?

My tax return was submitted late but before the April 23rd cut off for the Self-Employment 80%, 20th to be precise. The new tool to check eligibility launches today says that I’m not eligible to claim. But on paper I meet all the requirements. I’m hoping it’s because I submitted my 18/19 late, but wanted to see if anyone else was in a similar situation?
Cheers in advance

It looks like there's a bug.0

Same thing has happened to me, says I’m not eligible but meet every criteria- even submitted my last tax return in January.
stressed to the eyeballs! Would love to know how many others have had the same problem.0 -
Same here, I meet all of the scheme conditions and tax returns were returned and paid in full on original deadlines for last 3 years. The online tool today says I'm not eligible with the same standard response.

I tried it with my own UTR and NI number late afternoon today and it seemed to work fine. Didn't say one way or the other if I was eligible but asked for contact details and said they would send me an invitation to claim later in May the 15th I think.
So maybe the bug has been fixed now."All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well."

We've just done it and it said we are eligible maybe it's been fixed now. Deejaybee you need to just go onto the HMRC website and it's all there.1
