We are at 0% across the board for the next six months so slowing up the payments and stashing the money for it ready to pay off when the 0% ends, frustrating not being able to update the sig though :rotfl:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Just thought I'd pop by for a catch up ..you are all doing so well...I don't seem to have updated for a couple of weeks but will update with a nice amount tomorrow...and after that there are afew bills due out in the next week or two.
I doubt I will reach £20k but won't feel too guilty as I will have put £5200 away for tax, paid over £4k for double glazing and paid over £3k for our holiday so anything on top of that is counted in my sig...
I do not count any of the above in my challenge and only count debt repayments...so will update tomorrow0 -
Taxi, they are fantabulous figures :T
I have paid off another £700 which clears another debt completely, and takes me to being over a quarter of the way to the £20k which I am jolly happy about :T
My next target is the evil MBNA card - if I can get shot of that whilst on this challenge, I will be a happy bunny.
Have a good weekend everyone xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Right !!!....don't know whether this is cheating but as I'm going to the bank in a minute I'm updating my sig now...I am paying £1800 today off my Halifax CC as I sold my spare car yesterday..it will be paid off in about an hour....it is all sat here waiting to be paid .
Hypno fantastic totals for you ..well done ..you've paid loads in the last few weeks and good luck with MBNA...
Have a good weekend everyone...0 -
Hi all,
Well I have just paid £500m of MBNA card - feel a bit sick as it has left things very tight for the next month - so need to have lots of NSD's. However I have realised the only way to do this is to pay off the debt as soon as I get paid, if I wait to see what is left at the end of the month there is nothing there. Now need to find ways of making another £500 a month if I am to pay off my debts this year.0 -
Jess, I have done the same today - bitten the bullet and paid off £700 - leaves things very tight for the next few weeks, but hey, life is like that for us DFWs!!

Well done Jess I always find it best to pay off as soon as I have it so that it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket0
