Hi all keep up the good work!!!
Ive had the interest from Lloyds which was £143 so that has been transferred to my bill paying account. And I should get the rest (£370) soon. But Ive had to order some new blinds (£30 for 3) for my flat as everytime I have a bath or shower you can see through the window and dont want to be arrested for indecent exposure!!! And still waiting for money to come through from bingo!!!DFW Nerd No: 758  Proud to be dealing with my debts!:T Proud mum to Bon-Scott my amazing 10/10/10 baby0 -
Not much to report from me, am just getting slightly frustrated as i know i've made money for this challenge, but am just waiting for it to come through and some of the money i am waiting on is a real hassle to try and get hold of. Really want to update my sig but will just have to be patient. It's funny really, in my job with children i have to be incredibly patient, which doesn't bother me one bit, but when it comes to wanting to update my total, i'm as bad as the children!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi
Can I join please. I have £10875 to pay, but I will be paying around £225 every month from April so I need to find around £8850.00 from means other than my wages. Would love to do this by the end of the year, not sure how I will but I have been given plenty of ideas thanks to people on hereSo far have about £80

Phew, after must discussion and note writing and doing our sums the OH and I plan to atleast be able to pay off all our CC debt/overdrafts/catalogue by the end of the year. That's about £10,000. Ekkk but this way it's do-able! Going to hold of on the loan until the following year as we realised it really expecting too much to pay it all off too in this timescale!
Looking forward to the end results!!!

Hi all
Amber that sounds completely sensible, if the target just is completely unrealistic then there is no point setting yourself up for disappointment. I think for me the principle of this challenge is great, set yourself a target that you will have to really work to achieve but that you will be able to get to by going for it.
I had set myself a repayment path of £15600 for this year (£1300 per month) which allowed me £700 to live off per month (which is quite bit I think in hindsight) and then I saw this challenge and thought what the hell, I may as well really go for it so it is still going to be hard work but I reckon I can do it if I really put my mind to it, if I get super good at this moneysaving thing (all rather new to me) then I might even go for reducing my debts by £20K rather than just paying £20k towards them, but lets not run before we can walk eh?? lol
On a bright note - I sold my first item on play.com today so that is £8ish that will be winging its way to me shortly. I probably could have sold the item for a bit more but I need to get some quick sells to get some feedback. Hurrah for flogging stuff.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
