I am holding my breath until Tuesday (my payday) too
I have been crap for the last few months and this should be my last payday of being really rubbish (basically I moved house and had two holidays (long dull story, being in a relationship is NOT DFW) and managed to comeout of it with £1500 credit card bill. I haven't put his on my totals as it made adding up soooooo complicated, but as of Tuesday it will be about £150 whih I will nail over the rest of the month)
Can't wait to get back on it for payday at end of Sept when I should (fingers crossed) also have got my pay uplift and a small amount of backpay.
Am having to make my reduced target of £18k lower still to £15k I think. Grrrrrr me.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Monday will be here before you know it Jacks!
It can't come soon enough for me chick!
Hubby and I were just pooling our resources to see if we can rent a dvd tonight and I only managed to scrape together 27p!
My magnanimous daughter says she'll pay as long as she can pick though...
Oh goodie!

Cheers honeybun! :T
xxx
Hubby says if he reconnects the Sky to the phone line we'll be able to watch something On Demand or Front Row or whatever they call it - and not have to pay until the next Sky direct debit goes out...
I said if that's his best idea for keeping his wife entertained on a saturday night then we have clearly been married far too long!

Hi all
Since my last post I've been sorting out my spreadsheets etc. I've decided that I'm going to do loads of overtime. I'm going to speak to my boss and explain my situation and I've worked out that I can do at least 1 hour over time a day plus work at weekend when my OH is working (this also means that my boss can make loads more money so I'm sure he won't mind).
I have also set myself a little target to make at least an extra payment of £1 per week to my credit card with the highest interest and then once that is clear start on the next one. I'm really determined to do this now.
I just need to train my OH how to live on a really tight budget and not eat so many biscuits... he only seems to like the expensive biscuits!!!!DFW Nerd No: 758  Proud to be dealing with my debts!:T Proud mum to Bon-Scott my amazing 10/10/10 baby0 -
madmich, head over to the old style board and make some of Twinks home made hobnobs - you will never need to buy biscuits again!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Men are all the same lol! Took OH to Morrisons tommorow, we were gonna get a chicken for tea with some french bread, and a dvd and some Jacques Cider.... ended up spending £100, £45 on DVD's £20 on aftershve for him and £40 on food... dont ask me how! (shakes head).
I think im going to have to put a stop to him coming with me, its having disasterous effects to my pocket. Now got £62 until the 19th Oct, luckily im on a course with work for 2 weeks so am only going to have to buy him food, means 3x bags of chips, pack of mini pies, 2x chicken drummers and 2 xpasta meals, that will sort him out for 2 weeks mon-fri, just need some bread and ham to keep him going for lunch at work and some long life milk. Wont be too expensive. I think i have enough in for the next week, still got loads of meat in the freezer from last month. Oh the joys of food shopping on a budget.0 -
