Hi all,
Just updated my signature so thought I'd pop in to see how we are all doing.
Hypno - wow well done - you are an inspiration.
Pollydaydream, I know what you mean about this being a bumpy road. I feel like I am working harder than ever at this, with mystery shopping, matched betting and doing overtime, but I don't seem to be able to increase my payments, in fact I am probably paying off less each month that at the beginning of the challenge. I am trying to stay positive though - I hear people around me who are beginning to struggle now that the cost of living is rising and I am glad I had my LBM and started to tackle my debt when I did. Since I know there is not chance of paying off my debts before Christmas I have set myself the Challenge of being debt free by July 2008.

jess, you are right, the credit crunch and its related price rises are all taking their toll. I am really grateful for the fact that this site has helped me reduce my debt so much, as I can now work around the various price rises. Had I still been faced with the situation I was in a couple of years ago, I would really really be struggling with the extra price increases.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well done everyone - it's fantastic to see how much everyone's paid off this year.
When you're plodding along sometimes it seems like you're not getting anywhere fast, but when you see the totals adding up, it reminds you that that £1 here and there was worth it after all!
I've had a few ups and downs, but I'm really going to go for it for these last few months. I am, at last, going to stop faffing around :rotfl: .
