Due to a surprise windfall from tax credits - I have today paid £3500 extra off the debt.....:j

I also got £48 from quidco today which I paid off too. My total now stands at over £18000 for the year so I am getting close to my target :D

Just found this on page 34

Anyone got anything to update? I have only paid off £50 since I last posted, but hoping to update again tomorrow as another loan payment comes out!

  • Mine are just minimum payments at the moment, very frustrating. I have also spent on my credit card and am clearing it on 1st October but am !!!!ed off with myself and it will set back another month the money that I was planning on throwing at my debts in this challenge. Oh well, lesson is well and truely learned. I can't be trusted with a credit card, no matter what I tell myself.

£15k by then end of the year is looking more realistic for me instead of £20k- I wish I could literally beat myself up instead of sitting here and stewing about my stupidity.

  • On the bright side I am now sub £25k - woo hoooo

Not been there for some years, sub 25k feels good, missing the challenge feels !!!!! - hmmm am all over the place tonight - lol
