Parking Eye - Barnet Hospital - ANPR Error

Wait and see if they try court.
Not FoI. SAR.4 -
The ticket shows the rear of my car as "Arriving" and the front of my car as "Leaving". I wonder if anyone else has a ticket from Barnet Hospital if their images are the opposite way around?

When you speicfically pointed out that your car was clearly LEAVING in the arriving photo and ARRIVINg in the leaving photo, what did POPLA state?3

The BPA don't manage the cameras or anything else on a site. They rely entirely on their paymasters, the parking scammers themselves.
You should however complain to the BPA, PoPLA, and DVLA that a procedural and processing error has occurred which has resulted in a data breach as well as a KADOE breach. Include all evidence to support your complaint.
If there are separate scameras at the entrance and exit, take photos to show which way they are facing and which direction vehicles must be travelling in each case.
What happened when you complained to PALS/the Hospital Trust Manager/CEO?
Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam.

POPLA stated this:I note the appellant’s comments regarding the cameras. In terms of the technology of the cameras themselves, the British Parking Association audits the camera systems in use by parking operators in order to ensure that they are in good working order and that the data collected is accurate. Independent research has found that the technology is generally accurate. Unless POPLA is presented with sufficient evidence to prove otherwise, we work on the basis that the technology was working at the time of the alleged improper parking

Did you specifically note the error I wrote about? Bearing in mind we've not seen your appeal.
Or did you just say "ANPR is inaccurate" or something more generic?
Oh, and the BPa does NOT audit ANPR systems. Thats a lie by POPLA.4 -

You need to contact Mr Mustard (a leading Council PCN fighter - very reputable; he has appeared in documentaries about parking tickets) who helped with the above case:
https://twitter.com/_mrmustard?lang=en
Email: mrmustard@zoho.com
You need to demand from PE by email ALL the images from the ANPR cameras that day...like that person did:
enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk is the email to now use for P/Eye in pre-action comms to see them off. It will work.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
