I have also now written to PALS - as if they didn't have more important things to be doing than dealing with rogue Parking Companies.........

This is as important imo, IIMU that  people have killed themselves because of these companies.

Have you complained to the PoPLA lead adjudicator that PoPLA assessor has made a procedural error and not properly read or considered your appeal?

Have you complained to the DVLA yet and shown them your evidence?

Complaints can be made to POPLA, and Barnet Hospital has form for ParkingEye selectively using two images out of about twenty, as shown in that Parking Prankster blog.  I'd have used that as evidence in the POPLA appeal and required P/Eye to cough up ALL the images but you can do that now.

An email using their 'data privacy concerns' page will force their DPO to look at and divulge all captures of your car.

I explained their mistake, but the images of my vehicle don't show which camera took them or which way it was facing

Will try that next if PALS don't have any luck - thanks

Barnet recently cancelled a ticket issued to a 94 year old friend after his wife was rushed into a&e. He overstayed the free disabled parking by 30 mins,  Poor memory meant he did not remember reading a sign saying he was required to pay.

PALS simply said appeal to Parking Eye so my friend’s daughter did some digging and was advised to contact the CEO of Barnet hospital
    deborah.sanders@nhs.net
    and
    dee.davies@nhs.net
    and
    Deborah.lacey@nhs.net
    ms Lacey confirmed cancellation.

It is worth bearing in mind that the PE contract says that although the hospital has the right to cancel,  PE can charge them £10 each after a certain number.

Some additional points to think about, should they add to your case/statement in due course:

    1. To Apply to the ppc for a complete audit log of all parking entrances and exits for that day.
    2. To undertake a freedom of information request (they are operating on behalf of a publicly run body) to confirm when the system was last checked and how many claims of failed ANPR have been made by motorists in the last year
    3. To use the location tracking on your phone (if its backed up, say, to the Google cloud) to marry up with what you say about where you were in the course of the day.

As well as cellphone location tracking , people should also consider using dash cams

I have just wired in a nextbase dashcam into my recently bought car
