I thought I hadn't done much yesterday but I have lots of aching muscles, so I must have done. I did do the (bath sized) base of the shower including taking out the trap and clearing the gubbins out. As I had already put the shower mats in the washing machine this was a slow careful process - I showered and then very gently got down to floor level hoping I wouldn't do a 'Bambi on ice'. Reached for my glasses, the rags and the cleaning stuff all of which I'd set out on the chair before getting into the shower. Cleaned stuff then got up again using the chair and one of the grab rails.
I am being extra careful most of the time as the last thing the NHS needs is idiots who've injured themselves doing daft things. Not acquired any more oven burns since the first two but I am aware of not having any back-up if an untended minor injury develops complications. Caught the end of the couch with my hip yesterday (Keep moving it alongside mum's chair so we can watch something on the laptop together) and later misjudged a doorway but took that as a sign that I had done enough for the day even though there was still a lot to do.
Did spend time in the polytunnel getting the strawberries ready to move (when I can bring more 2l empty bottles from home). I have done some work on an embroidery piece that is near completion - now that it is 'fun' and not 'work'. Waiting for quite a few deliveries and starting to wish I'd ordered more - things I left to 'think about it' have gone when I go back. Just remembered I moved all mum's heavy pots, that accounts for the pain in my arms.Made all the milk money envelopes up for the month and set up for the window cleaner, stayed inside the house whilst he was in the yard and left the gate propped open with a spade so he had no need to touch the gate.
Gratefuls for yesterday, my last piece of salmon with new potatoes and peas, making progress (even though frustrated by bodily limitations), mum managing to write a letter (her hand only works some of the time), not being bored, still having books to read, more communication with sons, that I had the sense to stop working when I did.

Good morning all!,The first load of laundry is on the line, the second load of laundry is in the machine. First coffee has been drunk, second is coming after I finish with you's lot.Today I am no longer in the 'obese' category and am merely overweight! yay! Woke late, after having ridiculous vivid dreams and nightmares about people who have been jettisoned for a reason and I have no headspace for..DS4 sat on the padded footstool yesterday and did some boy wiggle thing and 3 out of the 4 legs went in 3 different directions, so I will be getting out my drill and screwdriver and reinforcing the bugg3r (footstool not child).General cleaning and tidying on the cards for today. Hoovering, mopping bathrooms, all that jazz.Gratitudes for yesterday:Cauli and broccoli cheese was gorgeous,Finding sorbet in the freezer (I thought the kids had yoffed the lot, but there was loads left),Having a glass of fizz with dh ,Hitting another weight loss goal.Having the ingredients for 20 main meals without needing anymore shopping. So today will be NSD2. Staying home, keeping safe, being highly sceptical about those govt figures.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Morning everyone
A new month and it feels more hopeful than last month. Friday was ok but i was glad to put my work laptop away till Monday. DDs and i had pizza for tea then they both joined their respective work colleagues (DD1) and boyfriend & family (DD2) for online quiz night. I went for a walk on my own and enjoyed the solitude and peacefulness. Then got into bed to watch Gogglebox and Friday Night Dinner. Definitely a great mood lifter. Ate far too much chocolate but had a nice sleep. Just going to check online banking and make some payments to my CCs. The sun is shining so i shall hang out the washing and maybe mow the lawn. We only have a small lawn and no flowerbeds so our green bin still has capacity for which i am grateful.
Hope everyone has a good day

Well done on the weight loss, F0xh0les. Something I really need to address. Between holidays, lock down and too many gins and tonic the pounds, if not exactly piling on, are creeping up at an alarming rate.
The Boy has collected our medicine from the chemist and brought it down to us last night with a request for me to please make him some home made soup as the tinned stuff is disgusting. That will give me something to do tomorrow.
I'm sitting here on my own as I've sent Himself upstairs for a nap. He says he's coping well with this but actually he's doing less well than he thinks. He's hardly sleeping and I know he's worried about me (not that there's really anything to worry about) and his brothers and he hasn't seen any of his friends for weeks.
But today I'm grateful for
