Members of Tribunal removed main document from case causing delays & expenses - expense claim

Options
Hi all,
About a year ago I made a CICA claim at HMCTS but unfortunately the main document I used as evidence and support for my case was recurrently removed from case by members of the Tribunal. The direct result was that my claim was unfairly rejected causing further hardship and distress (in addition to financial losses caused by the assault on me resulting in my CICA claim) : I was planning to travel overseas after the court hearing which was in last July. However, as I made an appeal against the Court decision another Court hearing was scheduled for few months later : for this purpose I had to stay in an hostel.
Also, as the delay is due to unlawful acts by members of the Tribunal I would like to know if I can claim a refund for expenses (hostel) to the tribunal.
Thanks in advance for your help,
PeterHook

See a legal professional. There is no "Consumer Rights" issue here.

    EDIT:
Looking at your posting history, you appear  to have plenty of experience already in court appeals

    See a legal professional.
I tried, but none wanted to work on no win-no fee basis while (as I previously stated) I already faced important financial losses since the assault me causing important injuries.

Your question is not one of consumer rights. To take this further you need legal advice ... perhaps see if you have a local solicitor with suitable experience who might do a free 30 minute consultancy? Or contact CAB for an appointment to discuss this? It is highly unlikely that anyone on this board will be able to give you the advice that you need. (Anyone can give you the advice that you want, but that won't necessarily be helpful).

You may don't know but all CAB and most lawyers firm are presently closed due to the pandemic crisis. I contacted one remotely for a small fee (30 minutes) but he didn't answer accurately to my questions.
It will also be fine by me with anyone advice since I will cross examine their advice with the UK law.
    Cheers.

If you disagree with a court decision, your remedy is to lodge an appeal.

The fact that no solicitor has been willing to take this on a "no win no fee" basis indicates that they do not rate your chances.

Nobody runs around suing judges or tribunal members in the UK - do a quick google search to see if you can find any examples.

Sorry to hear about the assault and your hardship, but I don't need to know the details of the case to tell you that trying to sue the judge/tribunal is completely hopeless.

You can claim anything you want whether you get it or not is a different matter. Even if you win the appeal expenses will be what you are entitled to. If they refuse you extra expenses back to court you go as suing is your right.

I look forward to this new suing tribunal for expenses thread

I'm not trying to sue the judge/tribunal but to just get a minimum of Justice. I've been requested to make a complaint since members of the Tribunal had removed the main document used as support/evidence from my case.
Indeed, I don't have the ambition to fight the exponential rise of crime and corruption in London but just to get a fair compensation for my financial losses.

If you disagree with a Tribunal decision not to take into account a particular document, you can appeal that decision.

There are many reasons why a Tribunal might have decided not to consider a particular document, or to place very limited weight on that document, or to decide that a document is not relevant. It's impossible to comment on that without knowing all the details.

You can in some circumstances claim for your costs (which may include travel expenses etc.) though you would generally only get costs if your appeal is successful. I don't know what is claimable in CICA cases I'm afraid.

Why did the Tribunal members remove an important document from the case?
