PCN dispute
I've trawled through the threads and can't seem to find a definitive answer to help me.
Just before the lock down I used the car park at Hove Goldstone Retail Park and was issued with a PCN from UKPC for leaving the site. Firstly, the original ticket was issued with the wrong registration number printed on the ticket. Stupidly, I contested the ticket with them and they have sent me a letter stating that a new, amended PCN has been issued with the correct registration number. They have said I can appeal again or wait for a POPLA verification code.
I'm not sure what I have to do next to contest it.
Please can anyone help me with my appeal.
Many thanks

Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , first post
If the vehicle is yours and not hired or leased then appeal as keeper using the blue text template by coupon mad
If it's not your vehicle, read the Edna basher advice and use one of his templates instead
No blabbing about who was driving
If they reject the appeal then use the Popla code
Your first priority is to get the landowner to cancel it2 -
Leaving site is almost impossible for a PPC to win in court. The term may be unfair under the CRA 2015, may well be contrary to the HRA, and they have to prove it.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the enacted
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Still not clear what I should do... Just trawling through a lot of the same information that doesn't seem to lead me anywhere. There's ALOT of posts, links and information that just sends me in circles1

I already told you what to do in very simple terms , depending if the vehicle is owner or hired/leased

Can you please copy the link to the template letter that you are referring to?
I do not know who the land owner is or how to find out this information.
I don't have a POPLA code as of yet.1 -
..... and when you are there, just scroll down until you come to some blue text, that is the appeal. If you are the RK, you use that appeal as is with no additions, deletions or modifications. If it is a lease/hire/company car use one of the Edna Basher appeals.KeithP said:
