Good. It should take a week to receive the results. They will email it to you.
  • NatWest seem to be closing random accounts left, right and centre these days.
With due respect, you are talking nonsense.  Nothing has changed...
Not really talking nonsense when a journalist from This Is Money made a report on it.

I agree with you there seems to be something strange going on loads of queues at banks plus loads of account closed without reason.
Are we in for another bank bailout ? Conspiracy theory.
Massive queues also at banks lately

I am assuming that the ThisIsMoney article is an opinion piece.  A subjective opinion.  Do you have a link please?

Even if they stated that closure volumes were up, they obviously wouldn't say that these closures were 'out of nowhere'!

That'll be the This Is Money that's part of the Daily Mail group and shares 'journalists' with the eponymous comic?

So, does anyone actually have any facts about account closure volumes, for NatWest or in general?

No we are not in for another bank bailout. Even it it were, it wouldn't be starting with your account, your housemate's account, and that of a few other people, being blocked.

That would be due to this little thing called Covid-19, and the social distancing that people must adhere to.

Same thing has happened to me, don't take it personally it's like they have a computer system to just automatically shut down accounts, not sure what will happen with the loan but would be best to give them a call as they might need to arrange a repayment plan with you.

The bank can decide not to have you as a customer, could be as simple as that.
