Follow the link posted above to get hold of your CIFAS data as a matter of urgency, as if there's a marker there then the other accounts may be closed too.0 -
With due respect, you are talking nonsense. Nothing has changed...notveryeducated said:NatWest seem to be closing random accounts left, right and centre these days.

I went to natwest bank in the branch they said many people have their account closed latelty and they don't know why... best way is to wait for the letter explaining why my account got closed and on there they told me I will find a number and to call that number.
To be honest it's seems very fishy it think they discriminate against people and I hear of a lot of people that had their tax return this year coming in the account and after find out they had it blocked l but I don't work as self employed.

No, the point is that it's not random as such, there will be reasons, even if they're not widely shared. Likewise, any perception that it's related to tax returns is just speculation....vtoea said:

No. You need to make a SAR request with CIFAS to see if anything negative is recorded against you.vtoea said:Well i just ordered my report thru equifax a few seconds ago there is no CIFAS or any search from Natwest related to that all seems really weird I'm sure there is something fishy going on with Natwest cause everytime i log into their Mobile app always there some big mass notification I guess to all app user about to be careful of fraud which was new.

That notification isn't fishy, it's what all NatWest customers are seeing when they login, in fact all customers of all banks might start to see the same message.vtoea said:

Check your report with the other 3 agencies, once you've done that come back here and let us know what they both say.
You haven't really answered (from what I can see) the question about has your housemate transferred money into your account ?

Does this person transfer money to your account.vtoea said:penners324 said:Have they given 60 day notice of closure? If so move the balance to another account before the closure date and get a direct debit set up on the other account to cover the loan repayments.
Also notice that a personal that's living in the same place with me which is with natwest also had their account also closed.0 -
Has your "friend" paid monies into these accounts as well?vtoea said:I got no RBS account but I do have hsbc/nationwide/starling/Santanders and all those accounts are fine0
