My husband parked in a premises round the corner from where he used to work, he had parked there several times before when going to watch football matches, usually there would be a guy in a high vis jacket who he paid cash but not always, he parked there several times as there was no ticket left on his windscreen, I was with my mum almost every day at that time as she was preparing for a bone marrow transplant and having chemotherapy. We didn't receive any paperwork until the claim form from the court (Over a year later) although they have included letters they say were sent.
This has been hanging over us for such a long time and through a really difficult period of our lives (Not to mention the current situation, no money coming in, mum on extremely vulnerable list, son in limbo with learning difficulties and cancelled GCSEs, caring for 5 local elderly residents.) Sorry, its not a sob story, I really just need this over and done with.
I want to be as prepared as possible and let the paperwork do the talking as Im not great emotionally at the moment and don't want them to get the satisfaction of me being upset. It mentions an advocate, I wonder if anyone could do that for me?
I can upload anything you think is relevant...

I know, these people are unbelievable! only thread I could find was 20 pages long, could you recommend one please?

For what purpose?  Why do you need a crib to complain to the SRA?
Meant for unreasonable behaviour costs, I will complain to the SRA when I get time.

Don't forget the ABUSE OF PROCESS when it's your turn to speak.

Interested though.  If Gladstones are based in High Legh and it is a telephone hearing, why can’t they use their in-house lawyers?  They are supposed to have a couple because they are listed on the SRA website - including the infamous John Llewelyn Gladstone Davies himself?

They never get involved in the actual hearings so presumably they recommend farming it out to companies like Elms legal as has happened in this case, which Excel and VCS do a lot , a bit like Mr Pickup , keeping it at arms length and avoiding the hard questions

A hired gun can take the hits for them. It stops a court directly asking awkward questions that could lead to contempt and a referral to the sra.
