    Hello laddies
Just managed to deposit £1800 into the building fund bringing the total to £28314.16. Not sure if I will be able to cross the £30k line by 1st of January but will see.
Getting all sort of quotes for the extension with the highest being £199999.00 at the moment! Who gives such a quote? Why not make it £200k? Am I going to ague over a pound£?

I hope you are all okay and keeping safe?
    Xx
Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)
Mortgage start date first week of July 2019,
Mortgage term 23yrs(end of June 2042🙇🏽♀️),
Target is to pay it off in 10years(by 2030🥳).

  • Great progress on the building fund; well done you!
And that is such a bizarre quote number! As if you'll think of it as anything other than £200k!

I am looking forward to some Christmas decorating this weekend, and hopefully getting the missing 3rd quote from a recommended builder so I can progress my building plans!

    Hello @frankersBri
We brought down our Christmas tree mid November as we wanted the sparkle of Christmas to liven the damp mood of lockdown! So decorations have been up for a while now!
Lucky you with builders as I have not had much luck!
