  • I tried to enrol in September but they had no places when I turned up even though I was on the list - so hopefully 2nd time lucky.
It covers alterations and is a 12-13 week course I believe. fingers crossed! I do like a new course in January as it cheers up grey January when also everyone is on dry Jan (inc me largely) and its cold outside without any twinkly lights!

Hope your xmas planning is all done
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I think you will be on fire at a five figure mortgage even if £99,999 - I foresee you having an hiatus on holidays and  being extra frugal  whilst you try to get rid of it in under 2 years at that point...

You are right @LadyWithAPlan @ £99,999 it will probably be more urgent to finish off! I guess I just need to relax and tackle it with time and not focus on the small details. The figures have been going down so that’s what important.
