[Australia Question] - Tracking Landlord Down!

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a 192.com equivalent for Australia, where i could find/search purchase individual voter information?
i'm trying to track down my landlord that lives in Australia that is refusing to give his contact information.
I need an address and telephone number, i'm hoping that there is something available, yes i know about looking on social media but no point contacting him there as they would block me so an address/telephone number is required so that legal action can be taken against him.
Any useful help is appreciated.

@Lover_of_Lycra may be able to say what's available.

Have you tried Google searching your LL to try and find an area to whittle down the location.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Would be better to ask on an Australian forum than here, I would have thought.
You'd also need to check the formalities for effective service of papers in the relevant state - I doubt a phone number is going to help you.

Do you have an address in (England or wales~) edit: scotland. All Scottish landlords must be registered, so speak to your council.~ for the landlord? If not. You can stop paying rent. - it will still be owed, but only once the details are supplied.

An address in Australia is pretty much useless to you.

What's the nature of the action you wish to pursue?

I am entitled to the information by law so i'm not sure why you are asking that, if you cannot provide assistance then thank you anyway.

... because the information will be totally useless to you in any meaningful way. Unless you're planning on surprising your landlord by an impromptu trip down under, the address ins Australia has zero use to you.

You say you're not at court stage yet. But Australia is a different court system to the UK (and that in itself varies from E+W, S, and NI). Serving 'notice' there would be at best a grey area; and strictly speaking not valid unless you meet the requirements laid out: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part06/pd_part06b

Now if you have an actual issue, that's what people here can help with.

Well you are not entitled to it, so no. You are entitled to an address in England and Wales, not Australia.

The OP is in Scotland.  Scottish law applies not English law.
