It's half a pound, don't knock it klew. All losses are welcome plus the NSV with the yoga pants. 😁 I'm sure that cafe meal will be far less synful than a Christmas party so  a good swap. Enjoy your shower! 😊

I think a  2lbs gain  for a week's holiday is well worth it ruby. Good to see you getting back on plan today but do be careful of the STP.  It's about 20 syns before you start on the cream. Why not just have a taste of your DH's portion?

Not guilty of pushing you in Oxford Street gtq. 🤣 We walked up Regents Street but  turned left before Oxford Circus so that we could cut back through New Bond Street. The shops there are so eye wateringly expensive that there weren't massive crowds.

I've never done HB with cubes of steak denise. I always use my old  beef in red wine recipe  for that. It's 1 syn (each)  for cornflour but that's it since I substituted the Tesco stock pots for real wine.  I doubled up on the gravy yesterday so plenty in the freezer for later in the week.

I think I've got about 12 syns left until Thursday although obviously I had to guess for last  Saturday. I don't think I need to use any more  before WI. I'd settle for  STS as not sure whether last week's off plan meals caught up.  I think a loss is too much to hope for. 🤔

    Today's EE plan -
B NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    L- ham (P), 2 fried potatoes (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- chilli con carne (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- 0

I quite often do the HB steaks with cubes of beef as it seems to go much further, as can be seen having enough to have lunch with the LOs for lunch, so win win!

I had a count up yesterday to see how many I had left for today until Wednesday and was absolutely amazed that I still have 36.5 syns left and only using 2 today, unless I decide later to have a couple of rum & ginger beers which would be a another 5 syns so still well within what I have left.

Don't think any of my meals this week have any syns or if they have they'll be minimal so should still be well under syns for the week so hopefully a loss but like you I'd settle for STS.

  • Did something I don't usually do this morning and got on the scales, huge morale booster as have lost 3lb, know it is the weight when I get on the scales on Thursday that will be the important one, but seeing the reverse happening already feels amazing. If I maintain that, it will be more than I hoped, if I beat it, well.................

Morning all!  That looks pretty special bubbs, making my mouth water at this time of the morning!  Well done on the loss GTQ, I'm sure you'll see that loss still on Thursday if you carry on as you have been!  Did have a little slice of the pudding maman as DH ate the rest of the thing straight out of the pot  :o: was a bit too sweet for me, think I'll stick to the usual christmas pudding from now on.

Have flipped my days around so I'm logging on to work earlier and then getting a workout done in the evening - only managed yesterday so far but it made a bit more sense to me, no idea why.  Felt really good so hoping that boost of endorphins will make sure I continue.  Having a bit of a busy day at work today with lots of meetings so haven't had breakfast yet because I'm not particularly hungry.  Will have some porridge for around 11 when I have a break with raspberries and an apple to get me through the rest of the day and some clementines if I'm peckish in the afternoon.  Dinner tonight is salmon and courgette pasta with probably some salad on the side.

Hope everyone has a good day.

That's great GTQ; I'm sure you'll see a great loss on Thursday.  I'm hoping for a good loss this week but I know it won't be anything like as much for me!  The most I've ever lost is 1.5lb but it's usually more like 0.5lb unfortunately!

Well done on only have a small piece of the STP ruby.  Suppose I'm quite lucky in that I'm not keen on Christmas pudding, Christmas cake or even mince pies, although I will eat a couple of mince pies at Christmas!  I will make my own rather than buying them so I can minimise the amount of pastry!

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
    D - Irish hotpot, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

That's me usually, so hoping that the gain will actually kick start again. I used to do well in the beginning, but then again, at that stage I had more to lose.

That's a real boost gtq. Hopefully you'll get a loss on the SW scales too and, at least, you'll know how/if they differ for the future.

Well done on not going overboard on the pudding ruby. I think you're a hero fitting in exercise at whatever time of day. 😊

I had more syns left than I thought. It could be as many as 16 although I'm thinking the full bodied Italian red I had on Saturday  was probably higher syns than usual wine. Same lunch as yesterday as had plenty of veg left from Sunday. No potatoes though so a S/P meal.

I did a bit of shopping this morning as wanted to make up a sort of hamper for DD1 to make up for not being here over the holiday.  I'll give it to her at the end of the week before she shops for herself and then follow up with 'meals on wheels' on Christmas Day.  I noticed that Primula is £1 in Sainsbury's. I also noticed that Frylight is £2.30 in there. It's even £2 in Iceland!!! Fortunately I've still  got a number of the £1 packs I bought ages ago in Lidl but at those prices I'll be buying Aldi own brand in future. I like Christmas pudding denise but not fussed about mince pies although I'll make some for DH as he'd be disappointed if I didn't. I could eat the mincemeat from the jar though. 😉

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk
L- ham (P), pickles and fried veg (S)
D- baked salmon (P), new potatoes (F), cauli steak, creamy cabbage with HEA2, mushroom, tomato, broccoli (S)
    Syns- 0

milann - you'll be pleased to know that the chia seeds will only be 0.5 syns (they are 3 syns for 2 Tbs); unfortunately cocao isn't listed so can't help with syns for that - when I put in cocao it came up with cocoa pops LOL!
