Morning all.  Up early this morning - about 4.30am!  Didn't sleep well was far too hot again.  Think I might need a snooze later!

Need to go shopping this morning but not going too early as also need to go to the bank and it doesn't open until 10am.

Washed and dried 4 machine loads of washing yesterday.  Final load currently in machine so will get that out on the line before I go shopping.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese on toast - HEA2/HEB
    L - jacket potato, veggie chilli - S; F; P (chickpeas)
    D - Spanish rice - P; S; F; 5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    Syns - chorizo 5

Morning all.  Well it got past 35 degrees here yesterday and then we had a massive rain storm to the point our road and garden were slightly flooded and some trees came down across the main road through the village!  Feeling cooler today but still so warm!

I'm also another one who will cook a meal for 4 people and freeze half of it or just reduce down the quantities if it's practical so it's for 2 people.  Saying that sometimes I have to rescue things from DH because he'll end up eating about 3 people's worth of food if I don't immediately shove stuff in a box for later consumption

B - Bran flakes (HEB), skimmed milk (1/2 HEA)
L - LO Homity pie (1/2 HEA), fried egg
D - Fish cake (2 syns), asparagus, green beans
S - Latte (1/2 HEA oat milk), strawberries, blueberries

It's our wedding anniversary today so not going to stay on plan tonight . I'm going to choose whatever I fancy on the menu (and wine list 😉) and then get back on it tomorrow. 😊

It's our first trip to a restaurant since lockdown. We last went out in the evening exactly 5 months ago to the day for my birthday. I plan to wear a dress I bought for a (cancelled) event in March and it still fits! Seems that 'Eat in to Stay Thin' works for me! 🤣

It's still baking hot here. The Test cricket is about 4 miles away so I'm sure the promised rain will come.. but when?? 🤔

Happy anniversary maman.  Enjoy your anniversary meal tonight, ant the wine of course!

Well done for still being able to fit into the dress you bought for an event in March.  I've also managed to stay within target range and everything still fits (thankfully! don't want to be spending a fortune on new clothes!).

We had some light rain this morning but not enough to make much difference to the garden - will still need to water this evening.

Still need to go out and pick some more tomatoes and also check whether there are any more courgettes ready.  I'm hoping now as still have a few in the fridge to use, although they'll get used for dinner tomorrow night.

Have done the shopping and have got all the main meal elements for the rest of the month and also enough for a couple of weeks after we get back from France in case we need to quarantine for 14 days on return!

    Happy wedding anniversary Maman
Ruby that sounds like quite a storm. I was watching it through the spare bedroom window at silly o clock this morning. Lightning was something else ⚡️⚡️but nothing like you’ve had.
Banking the syns is a great idea, will give it a go again. I tried it before but kept forgetting what I’d counted so went back to counting daily but if I’d had a bad day like Sunday - I have no idea how many....rather than having another flexi day - I’ve had far too many recently I’m pulling back and doing some damage limitation.
I’m getting back into good ways with portion control again. The tapas I made has done us for 3 days.....we’d have polished the lot off a couple of weeks ago.
    Today
Breakfast- strawberries, blueberries, satsuma and ff yoghurt
Dinner - bacon, poached egg, beans, tomato, mushroom and heb toast
Tea - tapas leftovers from Monday 1 syn
Snacks - fruit. around 5 syns from snack tin which contains some heroes, mini jammie dodgers and quavers
Body magic - swimming & 3 mile walk around my local area
    January spends - £587.58

Having never dieted like this for a long time, these are my thoughts. So im feeling less bloated, more energy (counterbalanced by muscle ache from spinning and a very hot five mile walk last night)  I am keeping an eye on my pasta portions but haven’t on the speed etc. I don’t feel hungry in general, maybes a little between breakfast and lunch but nothing major. The main thing I have noticed is I used to eat crisps and chocolate, im not totally banning this I have space raiders and French fries in the house, animal bars and freddos but im not craving them massively. I really thought I would be! Weight in is Saturday so will be interesting to see whats happened.

B - Weetabix (HEB), skimmed milk (1/2 HEA)
L – scrambled eggs, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes and green peppers
D - SW Best ever Bolognese, pasta, grated cheese (1/2 HEA)
    S - melon, apple,  freddo!

    Afternoon everyone
It’s a lot cooler here today but I’ve got a headache from the closeness- we had a bit of rain but nothing hugely significant. Strangely I’ve been sleeping fine even when it’s been really warm- I have two cooling gel pillows and a fan, plus my summer jammies (just my winter ones with the top swapped for a vest :D) and I’ve been fine, sleeping with no problems. I usually suffer badly with the heat but I’ve been okay. I’ve had to sack off my workout class for the second week in a row though because I’m really prone to heat exhaustion and the Hall where the class is is very hot. I have my SW class at 6.30 though on Zoom, thankfully my consultant is feeling better today. She put a post up on Facebook saying she’s going to announce on Friday when the group is re-opening in RL.
    Today’s menu:
B: 2 x HiFi (6) pear, easy peeler. Cup of decaf coffee with HEXA.
L: Fry up- SW sausages, Skinni black pudding (1) 2 x fried eggs cooked in my no oil pan, tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms. Fibre One popcorn bar (3.5) Water
T: Sweet chilli burgers (1) SW chips, salad. FF vinaigrette. Fab lolly (4) water
S: HEXB 2 x Weetabix, 2 x Light and Free yoghurts (1) blueberries and raspberries.
    Syns: 16.5
