Mamam - I just cut courgette into chunky chips and sprinkled with Parmesan and roasted them until soft. It was a humongous courgette from ds garden - only used 1/3 of it. I tend to buy SW friendly food too and do a lot of bulk cooking and portion to freeze  which is why I can plan as I do. Plus there is only myself and dh so don’t need to plan for a family.

Thanks Bubbs and Maman I never used to worry about my portion size so might just go back to that and stop when I’m comfortably full. I’d been cooking recipes for 4 and eating it between myself and dh, filling my plate a couple of times and not enjoying the 2nd plate - just because it was there 🙄 I’m trying to claw a few syns back from having an eat everything in sight  day on Sunday. I do usually have more I just don’t want another gain this coming week. 2 1/2lb on last week which had taken me 3 weeks to loose. I weigh on a Saturday so I’m hoping I’ll at least maintain 🤞
I wanted to watch that about the doctor twins. I’ll try and find it on catch-up- can you remember which channel it was on .

I still do recipes for 4 but with meat for 2 milann. We have generous portions and then I keep the rest for my lunches. That's for casseroles and roast type meals that heat up well. 🙂

Milann I usually cook recipes for 4 or 6 and then freeze some of the LOs for another meal.

Perhaps you'd find it better to use a syn bank like some of us do on here, it's not the SW way but it works for a lot of us on here.  You start with 105 syns on WI day, in your case Saturday and then keep track of your syns over the week.

My WI day is Thursday so I start with 105 then and have what I want up to Sunday night then Monday morning I check how many syns I've got left for Monday-Wednesday.  Sometimes I'll have as many as 15 left but more often than not I'll have 7 or  8 a day left.

I'm feeling a bit better now than I was this morning but still not 100% but at least I don't have to keep running to the loo (TMI!).

    Evening everyone
Thanks for all your kind words. I’m having good and bad days at the moment. Today is maybe a better day. Just fed up of the heat! No Zoom meet tonight as my consultant is poorly so going to join tomorrow evening’s meeting if she feels better.
My delivery of gorgeous skinny meaty stuff arrived today :)
    Today’s food:
B: HEXB HiFi x 2, apple, flat peach. Decaf coffee with HEXA.
L: 2 x Skinni burgers (1 syn for the 2) Uncle Ben’s Golden Veg rice (3) salad with f/f vinaigrette. Water
T: Skinni slice (1 syn for the 2) SW chips, salad, onions. Dairy Milk Ice Cream (13.5)
    S: Chicken drumsticks and tomatoes.
    Syns: 18.5
It’s gone v dark here so best get to the shop for more salad and water before the storm arrives.
    Night xx

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better denise. 😊
My group is starting back in RL tomorrow MrsR. I'm not going back yet though as we're going out for a meal tomorrow for the first time so not a good start to the week. We were promised rain for 8 pm but no sign of it yet. I'd love a cooler night but don't think it's going to happen. ☹️

RL groups started in our area on Monday evening.  My group starts on Thursday but not going to go until later this month.  Thinking I might try and get to my group next week if I can but will need to text my consultant Friday to try and get a slot because I decided not to go this week.  Suspect there may be a problem if everyone wants the early group like me!  Certainly don't want a later slot than I usually go to!

I think if I go next week then 8 weeks comes to mid October which will give me 2 weeks after my month long holiday to get back into target range!

No rain here yet either.  Looking at the forecast it looks like the storms by pass us but could really do with the rain to clear the air and bring the temperature down a bit.  It's still really warm here at the moment.
