There's a few strange things here.
Why did your friend not get 50%? This is a big sign it's not all as he has told you. Especially if it was a short marriage even more so which it sounds like it was.
If it was a short marriage the OP's friend would be less likely to get a 50 / 50 split, as the judge might attempt to put them back in the position they were in before the marriage. In that situation the explanation for the wife getting more out might have been that she took more in. (I think you may already know this, just clarifying for the benefit of others.)
Naturally this contradicts the OP's claim that their friend took more into the marriage and the ex took more out, but that could just be a lie or a delusion. The OP is open about having no moral scruples which increases the probability that their friends don't have any either.

Presumably it went to court and she was punished.  She's been punished, she's paid for what she did wrong and it was years ago.  Let it go.

Having read the responses I agree it's best to stay out of it because it it all blows up then your friend is probably going to become prime suspect. That could cause him loads of hassle trying to prove he didn't seek revenge etc. The best thing you can do is just be a good friend.

I always approach things like this with the question 'what do you want the outcome to be'?  What purpose would there be from your actions?
I was treated terribly by an employer, to the point I left, basically had a breakdown and didn't work for 6 months. I still haven't returned to the same field as which I left (one for which I had to undertake years of study). I was so angry for a long time as it felt they were able to just 'get away' with their terrible behaviour not only to me but I met someone else with almost the carbon copy experience.
The only thing that kept me going was knowing that one day she would get what she deserved and she did. Basically she ended up either having to leave work or she would have been sacked. The last I heard she is still unemployed. I am now in a great job, happy and realise that karma does indeed come for you.
Been around since 2008 but somehow my profile was deleted!!!

'It's been in the Daily Mail/Sport/Express, so it must be 100% true'. Right...
Fine then, if you are happy to rely on the above. But bear in mind that any allegations you make that are not true are then potentially libellous if you put them in an email.

People are missing the point, she has got married and changed her name. So a smaller employer probably wouldn't even look at previous names.

What she has done to your friend is unimportant, what has she done in the past that she's done ? I know someone who changes his name and pretends to be a vet doing outcalls when he has no legal qualifications, would need information on what she did before to give a full answer really
