On a different note how has she got most of the money from the house sale ?
Oh and as for the illegal or morbidly horrid, just stay out of it.

It's normal for firms to google candidates' names to check them out - it's likely that her new company knows all about her history.janedoedoe said:She's recently got a new job and it makes me wonder if her new company knows about her dodgy past.... Years ago she was involved in a big scandal that made it's way into many newspapers.
I know I shouldn't get involved and it's not my place to do this... but I'd love to email her employer anonymously with some of the articles written about her disgusting behaviour.
You could make your friend's life much more difficult if she thinks that he has contacted her workplace.

janedoedoe said:I'm ok with morally terribleThen I have no idea why you're whinging about your friend's ex taking most of the divorce money (as others have said you have given no evidence that the house proceeds weren't part of a fair split) or being involved in a scandal. Presumably jealousy.Do whatever you want, if you don't care about the outcome of your actions then neither does anybody else.2

I am confused why someone would get married merely for their Surname? Am I missing something?
If it was to escape the scandal of her past, deed poll exists. Much easierWith love, POSR 4 4

I feel that she married my friend to get his last name and as soon as she'd got bored of him, she took his name, money, car and buggered off.
Is it illegal to send an email to her boss with just links to a few articles revealing her true nature? Or is it just morally terrible? I'm ok with morally terrible... just don't want to yet in trouble with the police!Bit in bold:No, you shouldn't.No, it's not your place.

Wind your neck in. If it is a large company, if she is in a position of trust, she will have to state previous names, so they would be able to check her background. If what you say is correct, and she now has a new life, is not everyone entitled to a second chance? Is your life absolutely spotless? No skeletons (even tiny ones, such as thinking about writing anonymous emails) in your cupboard?

Last couple of jobs I have, my new employer googled me. Doesn't help that the main article concerns a murderer (not in this country or me). People can make decisions based on what is available, plus if it is relevant some jobs do ask for 'historical criminal convictions' or something akin to that. Unless the job is with vunerable people, their new job is no one's concern.
Your focus needs to be why your friend received an unequal split from the sale of the property.May you find your sister soon Helli.

Not illegal to share anything with anyone. Especially if it's links to information.janedoedoe said:A close friend of mine was cheated on by his wife and she up and left him. That said, why is she taking so much, are there kids involved? If not divorce should be 50/501

Your focus needs to be why your friend received an unequal split from the sale of the property.Shouldn't that be the friend's focus, rather than the OP's focus?I can't see anywhere that the friend has asked the OP to get involved.I would be absolutely furious if a friend of mine chose to get involved with the life of my ex, her new employer or my finances unless I'd expressly requested them to do so.11
