holiday extras havent refunded me

I don't understand why they would pay and then reverse? As this is not a chargeback, it was paid back onto my card 20/4

Because thats how a chargeback works. The bank will almost always give you the funds back ASAP and then the merchant has 45 days (?) to dispute it and they can claw it back.

So don't go spending it yet.

Unless this is actually Holiday Extras doing a legitimate refund themselves?! I think you need to contact your CC provider and ask, I am sure this will be of intetest to many on here.

This is the 3rd time in two weeks messaging Holiday Extras.I paid for parking with a credit card.I was asked if I would like a refund when flights were cancelled and told I would receive it shortly only to be sent a voucher.I have messaged again but have yet to get a reply.There is nowhere on their website that allows you to apply for a refund.I will not be using this company again.Has anyone managed to get a refund from this company.

You along with me, and many others will never use HE again.
HE are refusing to give cash refunds even when they are obliged to my law.
At the moment looks like you have to go though your card company if you want a cash refund.

I didn't think I could write my message any more clearly but it is not a charge back. I asked for a charge back last week and my bank have not responded. My refund is dated 20/4 therefore it is not instigated by my charge back request. So why would they pay me and try to claw back. It does not make sense.
I had previously been offered vouchers and repeatedly asked for a refund which they confirmed on 31/3 that I would get within 30 days. They have done that but I didn't know coz I only received my credit card statement today.

Right so its an actual refund then. Interesting.

We didnt think it would be a refund as they have stated they wouldnt be doing it and changed their minds to people who were promised one. So this is a turn up.

It's very strange how that have seemed to have just refunded one person in cash,  I have not seen anyone else say they have had a refund in this way.

I got a refund last week for airport parking. From email to money in bank about 1 week.
