Good luck with the assignment. I have managed to do most of my Xmas shopping which I'm pleased about now as it's hard in lockdown to do it. Good luck.crunchy_time said:Evening all!
Currently having a break from my assignment. Finding this own hard. I still have 1000 words to write and it’s due on Tuesday. I shall go for a run tomorrow and then focus hard on it all morning. And I want to do a masters!!!! I blow my own mind sometimes!
The kettle blew up today so that is something I must start to shop around for. It lasted 6 years so its had some good innings. I shall try and keep husband in check for a reasonable priced one.
I really should start my Christmas shopping but I seem to have lost all enthusiasm! Maybe that can be my treat after I have finished this assignment!
Right, better get back to it, it’s not going to write itself!

Evening all
Struggling with my mental health at the moment. So up and down and think it’s because of lockdown covid worry as I am in a good place at the moment. I don’t normally get this anxious. There is lots of pressure at work and I am a people pleaser so I am taking in more trying to help out. A lot of the students I deal with are anxious too so I am a bit of an emotional punching bag. It takes its toll.My deadline for my assignment is today and I haven’t finished it and I don’t even care. Husband says that it’s because nothing is resting on it like future employment. I do want to complete it but I need to focus on my mental health and stop being a people pleaser. This is the ideal opportunity to learn how not to do that. I can’t be everything to everyone.Sigh! I need to grow a pair!!

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time, crunchy. It's a funny old world at the moment, I love being home so it's weird to think it's even acceptable to find aspects of it difficult but I absolutely do...same storm, different boat...
Hope you've sought an extension, look after yourself

Great that you will soon be in the £6k numbers. Sorry about your anxiety. These are difficult times especially if you work in schools. Good you are feeling a bit better now though and you got an extension for your assignment.
