    Just sent off my documents today as this is the only way. I refuse to give them extra money and then wait for a refund. Yes i think they could find  a better way as they have to be originals and they could get lost. I get proof of posting just in case. Hopefully they have more people back to deal with things. Even before this it still took a while for them to process my cheque and to put  it on the data base. First time it happened it was nearly 2wks.

    DVLA are nothing to do with DWP and they don't have access to anyones information.

    I can sort of understand that they want to see your PIP award letter as that is issued by DWP, but all of the information relating to the vehicle is readily available to be checked online.  I just don't see why you have to send off the V5C and MOT every year, it is crazy.  

    It's been exactly the same since PIP was introduced in 2013.
