Try a foodservice company. Some of these have bigger bags of flour, fresh yeast etc. Wellocks is doing click and collect to a growing list of pubs, as well as home delivery within 25 miles of all depots.0

No. I'm definitely no Mary Berry.
I live alone and am simply looking to replace my existing 1.5 kilo bag of flour which is now less than one quarter full.
The reason for my post was because I am surprised that some enterprising flour mill or supermarket has not bagged excess flour to go on the empty supermarket shelves. Some Asda and Morrisons stores have been bagging flour and selling it to personal shoppers but not online. I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is no shortage of flour - it's just in large sacks in mills as cafes/restaurants/canteens etc are not taking it at present.0 -

Full shelf of bread flour in Lidl again this morning - 2 weeks running and different days !

Hi all
I did get bread flour from my local Lidi re bagged it and its now in the freezer , also managed to get Fermipan yeast ebay for £8 and done the same .had no problems using both

Tesco are now stocking various flours factory packed in 1.5Kg flat plastic bags similar to cereal box inner packaging.

loads of flour in asda yesterday, problem seems to be easing.

not been able to get any since that fatefull day when Boris announced the lock down. the world and his wife decided to suddenly buy every bag of bread flour. so threres non left for people like me who actually make bread in normal times.
anyway got some on amazon prime and done the rest of my shopping on there too. think sainsburys may of lost a customer here.0
