Thanks both, yep lots of laying in the garden in the sun (and a little bit of sunburn :) ).
I'm back in work tomorrow, caught up with my line manager tonight and she has tested positive today so won't be in so it is going to be full on but at least only two weeks until we break up for Easter x

Finally made it to Friday evening, its been a very long week. Luckily only one more to go until we break up for Easter. I'm on the mend but so, so tired still, I'm still not convinced it wasn't Covid. I'm in bed already, each evening I'm shattered and in bed between 6-8 with a headache :(

Anyway, this weekend will be spent mainly chilling, with some football, but also having a major housework blitz as the original hottie messaged this week to see when we break up - I told him 12.30 on Friday and he asked if he can come over around 1.30  :)   So I need to get on top of the cleaning this weekend so that I can just maintain it during the week. I can't wait to see him :)

I did the end of month banking last night and ended up with £25 left over, which will be added to March's Prolific earnings (£21) and that's £46 to go towards my energy bill.

Well I haven't achieved much at all today - most of the day has been spent on the sofa with a blanket, trying to stay warm without putting the heating on :( I still feel totally wiped out, each time I get up to do something I am exhausted within a couple of minutes. Tomorrow I must get on with cleaning the house as it hasn't really happened today. Saying that it is fairly tidy, and I did tidy up the garden a little, but overall I haven't done much. I think I'll write myself a timetable for tomorrow ;)

I'm going to get into bed soon and mooch on the laptop, I have done a few prolific surveys today and also made about £10 in matched betting, so not all bad. I'm already fed up of the cold, what is it going to be like once we've had the summer?! :(

  • I am trying not to think about winter. AT ALL.

Do you think you might have had covid to feel so rubbish? It is such a horrible feeling of weakness that you can't fix (yet)
    Take care of yourself

and how was the original hottie?
    xx

Me and OH had the Delta covid January last year and both still suffer from fatigue. Some days ok but if we are not going anywhere in bed by 8.30 /9.00pm. Just go with it and listen to you body.  We are older than you but it needs to be managed to recover.

I do think it might have been Covid - the two people I work closest with at work both tested positive at the same time but my PCR was negative. I had Covid last year and was exactly like this for ages afterwards, its where my weight started going back on as I wasn't doing my walking and I seem to be the same again right now but I know I need to just rest. My fitbit tracks my sleep and usually I get about 1 hour of deep sleep a night (where the body repairs), for the last two weeks I've been getting between 1 hour 30 and 2 hours a night, so I guess my body is doing what it needs to do?!

The original hottie is coming over on Friday (8th) when we break up for Easter, I'm hoping I've got a bit more energy by then ;)

I was naughty tonight and ordered a meal deal from Pizza Hut through Just Eat. £15 for a medium pizza, garlic bread and a drink. When it arrived the drink was missing (I wouldn't have even ordered one, it just came with the deal), anyway, the guy has just come back with 2 drinks and a tub of Ben and Jerrys to say sorry :):)

Happy holidays!! We finally made it to the end of term, its been a long one!

So the original hottie came over and it was lovely :) I found out the reason he came over here was the house he was renting has been sold so he's back at his Mums for a few months while he sorts out somewhere else. It was lovely to see him for a bit, not sure if I'll see him much til he's got a new place as he works lots of hours so won't get over here very often, I'm sure we'll sort something ;) Today was a really good day - 2 weeks off work, time with the original hottie and a bag of Mini Eggs :)

So I now have two weeks off work, the house is already clean and tidy and I don't have much planned. Tomorrow will mainly be a footie kinda day and maybe some planning. Its all the usual stuff again really; getting back on track with my eating and walking as that has gone very off-track since I've been ill, making some money where I can, maybe a few trips to the tip from the garage, and some batch cooking to get the freezer full again, using the slow cooker.
