If your dont want to help just keep your noses out of it!

And why would we want to help a scammer?

You're story goes along the lines of

    (a) i imported 100 pairs trainers from china
    (b) i never checked their origin or did check and didnt care
    (c) i scammed 100 people by selling them counterfeit goods
    (d) i've got caught on

    OR

you're here just winding people up.

Either way, you're a waste of time.

by the way this solicitor is friend of my dads friend, so, I dont think he will charge a hefty amount of money!

Keep up the rant, it's quite interesting.

So what's happened in the 2 days to make you come back with this untouchable attitude? By the way, unless it's his own firm then the partners will have something to say about him not charging their going rate for legal advice.

I agree, and why would he want to help you when he actually knows you are guilty of the offences. No solicitor is going to take on nike when they know their "client" is a guilty counterfeiter.

Dont help a scammer. Dont dont dont. You're giving short cuts/lopholes to let him get away with it.....and probably do the same thing again... and it could be you next time.

I agree with Paul here and can the rest of us too?

That's funny the same thing happened to me. I sold exactly 100 pairs of fake adidas which I thought were genuine. They only had two stripes instead of three.

Their solicitors Mizuno, want me to pay £500 per trainer plus a £10 settlement and a percentage of something, I don't know why they stated in the letter it had to be a percentage of 'something' as I do not know what they mean by 'something'.

I can't afford to pay them £50,000, I've asked if they would be willing to accept the tenner.

    lol!!!
    good luck

I think you misjudge solicitors with that comment;), they wouldn't do it for free but I'm sure there's plenty of solicitors who'd act knowing their client was guilty.

If he admits his guilt to a solicitor (in that he knew it was illegal) but intends denying it, a solicitor is legally bound NOT to represent him.

If he pleads a ridiculous claim of not knowing it was wrong beause a banana said it was okay, a solicitor is legally bound to provide representation.
Even if the solicitor doesn't believe his claim, he still has to provide representation.

As long as he doesn't tell the solicitor he is going to lie, then he get legal representation.

Of course, the solitor doesn't HAVE to take on a client, but most would rub their hands at this jackass as the legal fees will be quite high (not all care too much about a 100% success rate!!)

my dad is going to show a solicitor tomorow , by the way this solicitor is friend of my dads friend, so, I dont think he will charge a hefty amount of money!

Oh good...the friend of a friend of a friend scenario....

As for the solicitor bit......it'd be pointless defending this numpty...he's been trading on eBay since the age of 16 or less ( and justifies it by saying he uses his mum's/dad's / sisiter's credit cards....he's come on before bleating about losing money on phone deals etc etc ) Any self respecting solicitor would throw him through the door...he has more tales than Beatrix Potter !!!

And....he's on the bones of his backside so why would a solicitor let him run up fees he can't pay.

If he's genuine ( which he isn't ) then let him face up to his responsibilities...he flogged dodgy/illegal/dangerous gear on eBay and got collared. He's a no-mark....... let him pay the price for his shyster tricks!

As for the ranting.....you keep up the fairy tales Mo/Mkr........ we know you of old....;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: you're fooling no-one....even your spelling mistakes have never changed from your older posts in your other names......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
if i had known then what i know now
