I'm out late afternoon/early evening so have got a curry from the freezer so will reheat that and have with some plain boiled rice and a bit of mango chutney (love the stuff!).
I'm afraid I went Son of Dye number 8 with the more powerful suck. It does make me smile how we all chip in on which vacuum cleaner. It comes tomorrow. We shall see. It was £100 off in the dog food promotion with Big River

I've got a Son of Dye V10 animal, the one I mentioned that dies half way through hoovering, will be interesting to see if a newer model has a better battery, or maybe we just need a new battery or a less dusty house
We got it as a 'gift' from DH work so can't complain as it was free. My mum has a samsung and I slightly prefer that, it is very powerful!

A chunk of good quality chorizo sausage is a really useful thing to have in stock. A very small quantity of tiny chopped bits added to a recipe can really liven the flavour up for something which would otherwise taste a little "Flat"2

Primrose this is precisely how I use it too - a classic for me is to cut into small cubes and cook, releasing the oils which I then use to fry off onion or mushroom for example. Just a small amount can elevate things like macaroni cheese to a whole new level! (And this reminds me that I really must insert some sort of vegetable cheese pasta bake into our mealplan!)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

We have a Jaws (animal) & bought the one with the dual battery option so always able to swap out if the battery dies mid-clean. Also have the hand-held mini jaws for quick clean-ups! Always amazed at the amount of human hair and fine dust it picks up even though we vacuum regularly.
Food-wise we have are gleaning our sustenance from Sunday's roast and Monday's Cottage Pie - we did family-size cooking for two days as RL is ticking along apace and OH's energy levels have been low so the less actual cooking and clean-up the better. We are in the midst of having to re-evaluate what we make as OH now needs to focus on a softer food diet rather than our usual fare.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! This evening will be the usual tuesday couscous - halloumi for protein, and then the veg part will be peppers and mushrooms, plus a tin of some sort of beans I think. That bit is up for debate as I'm undecided whether to simply take it the "cold salad" route.
Tomorrow will indeed be a HM ready meal kinda night - and that will see a nice large tub of stew departing from the frozen annals of freezer 2...2
