 I dont have a garden just a french window and tiny balcony.  Big enough for a few pots.  Stuff can get scorched up here. Lost all geraniums last year.  There was a Dr on tv saying its good for us to watch things grow. Some water cress on a window sill they are micro-greens.  Spinach is easy to grow he said. Never can successfully grow herbs for long on a windowsill though would love some advice. Can you get seeds on line?

Thompson and Morgan sell seeds on line. I think the cress you could grow on a windowsill would be mustard cress (used in salads/egg&cress sarnies etc) rather than watercress.

I can’t remember on which of these threads I heard about kale crisps, but I’ve just cooked some, and they are very nice! 😊

Ive just found a bag of cashews, poured over in a little olive oil just to lightly coat. Sprinkled with chilli powder and salt. Then roasted for 10mins 200c

Not really an oversupply, as I can throw it into my stirfries, but just thought I’d try something different. In fact, there's another bowl fight next to me waiting to be eaten, and it smells delish!

Carrots, though.............yes, another mountain of those! I will try microwaved carrot crisps tomorrow, and if that fails, I shall buy a rabbit! 😂😂
Pity my dogs aren’t still here as they loved carrots.

What a good idea! I’ve some cashews that need using up, so I shall try that! Thanks! 👍

Not that late, skogar, depending on where you are; I've just had to raise another batch having been silly enough to leave my first ones out overnight in a frost! Two survived, but the new sowings, which germinated quicker, are catching them up fast.

I’ve just had a delivery (by post) of a load of herb seeds from Sutton’s.
Took a while, though, as they’re obviously having problems, like a lot of firms.
I’ve also ordered some herb pot and plug plants, but am still waiting for those.
