I’ve planted up some seeds from supermarket cherry tomatoes. Dried them out and planted.  Six out of 12 have sprouted on the window ledge.

You can also put the root of celery or chard in water and it will grow some more leaves on the window ledge. 

Cheaper than buying seeds!

Not really an oversupply, as I can throw it into my stirfries, but just thought I’d try something different. In fact, there's another bowl fight next to me waiting to be eaten, and it smells delish!

Carrots, though.............yes, another mountain of those! I will try microwaved carrot crisps tomorrow, and if that fails, I shall buy a rabbit! 😂😂
Pity my dogs aren’t still here as they loved carrots.

I love kale crisps, but am trying not to use it all up for that, and eat it sensibly! Carrots have been roasted with cumin, turmeric, ginger and cinnamon ready to turn into soup. Assuming I haven't eaten them all before that happens...

I’ve just had a delivery (by post) of a load of herb seeds from Sutton’s.
Took a while, though, as they’re obviously having problems, like a lot of firms.
I’ve also ordered some herb pot and plug plants, but am still waiting for those.

I have some on the way from Mr Fothergills... took about 10 days from order to despatch.

Edit......by the way, got more apples, so it’s retrying the apple crisps tomorrow as well as the carrot crisps!

Quick query - I would like to still be able to listen to Classic FM and local radio stations and to be able to watch the ITV version of Iplayer tv programmes and it is proving very difficult presently.

Reason being - the absolutely relentless Covid adverts from the Government. I think I may have to give up being able to listen to radio stations and watch ITV tv programmes on their version of Iplayer until this is all over - because it's happening every few minutes literally and I am trying to switch off and relax - but "up it comes - AGAIN".

Any tactics for being able to listen to relaxing classical music or pop music radio channels without all that Covid stuff? Any tactics for being able to watch ITV Player (or ITV programmes live come to that) without all that Covid stuff? I was trying to listen to Classic FM again tonight and it was unsuccessful - as the Covid adverts seemed to be coming up at about 5 minute intervals.

Would be very much appreciated as to how to switch off from all that and just relax...

I don’t quite understand, because I have Classic FM playing all day, but don’t get constant Covid stuff. 
I don’t know about ITV, but I have used BBC iPlayer a few times recently, and don’t get constant Covid stuff on that, so maybe try BBC?

I don’t quite understand, because I have Classic FM playing all day, but don’t get constant Covid stuff.

Was trying to listen to Classic FM unsuccessfully tonight - as one of those adverts kept coming up every few minutes.

Was trying to watch the last couple of episodes of "Liar" (that ITV mini-series) today and every darn time there was an advert break up came 1 or 2 Covid adverts (whether from the Government on the one hand or a "traditional" type advert from something like a supermarket - but the script was clearly written in Covid Times.

Hopefully I'll have more joy with those BBC programmes I've been saving up to watch and can just watch them uninterrupted.
