Thanks. When  you say "get the gym to cancel it on your behalf" get them to contact G24 and sort it out. Or do these companies personally have something to do with them, thought it was seperate

They are separate.

G24 will only cancel if the GYM tell them to, not by you contacting G24.  Don't be told to appeal saying you were a gym member - NONONO.  The Gym must send an email to the parking firm.

Ha Thanks will get them to do this. Is there any kind of confirmation I should look for especially as gone to debt agency

Many businesses are struggling and desperate for customers. Tell the gym manager to cancel the charge, or you will cancel your membership. 

Complain to your MP about this unregulated scam, and send a curtesy copy to the MP where the gym is located. Tell them the actions of these unregulated parking companies is having an adverse affect on local business.

Hi. Just to follow up have spoken to the gym they are going to try get this cancelled, see how that goes but will go back to my MP. Wanted to ask the Debt letters are being sent to my girlfriends house and not mine, the registered address, have no idea how they got this address as I have ignored the debt letters, so quite worrying. Anyone experienced this and anything I can do surely this is a breach of GDPR. Thanks

Yes, obviously you can just email and give them the right address, by attaching a copy of your V5C showing the registered address and telling them you do not live at the address they've been using so they must delete it and tell the PPC as well.

Thanks. They are sending letters to both my house, where registered vehicle, and my girlfriends house. I have one bill there so its amazing to me how they have managed to get this address and send letters to me there

Emailing a data rectification notice to the DPO at each organisation with your current address and insisting that all other addresses are erased under the law should suffice , do it today with a copy of the V5C , or copies of 2 recent redacted utility bills as proof of I D under the GDPR law , leaving your name , address and date showing
