Thanks Elfmay, that reminds me .. Halifax are b..st...s. To associate their useless call centre with that dancing, prancing moron is an insult to anybody who was ever a customer. I closed my accounts and told them why - Prats.
  • i had to vote for o2! i dont work for them, but they are clients of the call centre company i work for-omg! our call centre is better than the actual o2 ones, and the training in ours is terrible, its barely changed in the past year! old info handed out and rediculous working practices and processes make for frustrated agents and very irritated customers!
    ps
little hint if you are calling to complain about anything-dont start of all angry and demanding a manager, start of really terribly polite and friendly, the person you speak to is more inclined to help you then, and if you do need a manager will happily get one!

I know exactly what you mean! I've been 'trying' to speak to my 'branch (HA!) manager' for a fortnight! I still don't even know his/her name! I reckon its microsoft myself! (Well I only get to 'speak' to a machine) As for that 'prancing moron' I agree he is an insult to anyones intelligence!

OK! Can we start a 'stupid' thread? Please all vote for me! I have my bank account, credit card and ISA with this company!

OK I admit one tiny mistake - i thought i had included BT! Alas its too late

As for McD's well its a US company and the same with Microsoft (plus i know if Msft had been in it'd have won)

As for others - well how many do you want - I could've done 100 - but i thought it a reasonable sample. Still I think the proof is in the number of votes and the discussion interesting reading

As for me I voted for (xxxxxx) well that'd be telling!

Hmm, (xxxxxx)?? 6 letters... narrows it down to:

    Amazon
    Dixons
    Orange or
    Virgin

You seem to like Orange for 0800 calls, so I'm guessing its not them. If you're with Orange, it rules out problems with Virgin (well, mobile anyway). Amazon is fairly low down on the list, so the odds are its not that. It must be... DIXONS!!!

What shall I put here?

And before you say "they're not a UK company" - they were when I started having problems with them :)
  • i think nestle should definately be here... i dont care where they are based.... they trade here and are bad bad bad

  • Tesco's every time. I am astounded by there slow monopolisation of every market and yet no-one does anything to stop them. This is appaling for customers as they are having their choices dictated to them. £1 in every £8 spent in Britian is going to Tesco's. And on a personal level I have my Broadband service with them and have had nothing but problems and appaling customer service. Can't wait until I can switch to another supplier.

It has to be BA. My wife, 3 year old & I had visited Colombia & had tickets to leave from Bogota on the friday evening. Turned up at the airport to find the BA check in closed. One extremely helpful porter found us a yellow pages but no use as all the BA staff had all gone home for the night. We booked into a hotel & contacted BA in the UK early the following morning. After quite a few phonecalls we found out that our flight had been moved to thursday some months previous but both BA & the BA travel shop where we bought the tickets had not bothered to get in touch to let us know this minor fact. To cap it all, on the flight home the following monday the snotty hostess said our son could not have a meal as we had not pre booked a childs meal! All he got to eat on the way home was some crackers
Your home is at risk if you leave the windows open while out:naughty::naughty::naughty:
