Totally agree about BT.
Monopolistic, arrogant, inefficient, incapable of answering correspondence and prone to charging customers for useage they KNOW the customer has not incurred (see Sunday Times article) - or could it be they just don't care?0 -
BT has surely done so much to deserve a place in this poll.0

Does Martin have shares in Argos?
I am so upset that the company I REALLY wanted to vote for wasn't there.
I noticed as I looked down the list that out of the forty, only four have a shop or other presence on Shetland. [British Airways, Halifax, Lloyds TSB and the Royal Mail] .
Of course, we do have to put up with BBC and ITV broadcasts. If anyone from ITV is reading this - It is not cost effective for you to keep advertising all the mainland shops when so few are here. It is highly unlikely that we will travel to mainland UK just to buy something. Please put some ads on with local relevance instead.
Well, that's my rant over with.

As a business customer, BT is the worst companyn to deal with that I have ever experienced.
I was shocked that BT wasn't included as I would love to blast those none-communicative monkeys to infinity.
Had to go for the next contender for making my life miserable!:eek:0 -
I'm extremely disappointed to see that Nestle did not make the shortlist.
Although they may be reasonably respectable in this country, this company makes millions from aggressively marketing infant formula in developping nations. Babies fed on infant formula in developping nations DIE.

Some people think breastfeeding advocates are tree-hugging weirdos with breast fetishes. We're not, we're just trying to bring some balance to the baby feeding debate - do you know how much money the manufacturers spend putting their case across? How can we possibly 'compete?'
Sorry to get political, I'll also point out that breastfeeding is WAY cheaper then formula!I was gonna write a smart signature line, but then my brain died...0 -
I would have lliked to have zapped Nestle, recently voted the most unethical company out and the subject of the worlds biggest boycott due to their appalling practices in the 3rd world that result in the deaths of thousands of babies.0

i voted for sky; they charge us through the roof for 200 channels of crap (>90% of which is repeated from our original 5 channels).. and prevent any other (sattelite) company from starting up to compete with them.
how come more people have voted for BBC over ITV?!
the bbc (along w/ channel 4) makes up the vast majority of my viewing.. innovative, intelligent programming and delivery (radio online, listen again, interactive (addmittedly only occasionally any good)).. unlike the same repetive, mindless 'chav' crap churned out by itv. i even think CH5 is better now, despite also being very cliched at times.0 -
British Telecom has been my pet hate for many years. They are the McDonalds of the telecoms industry; telling us we have choice when we dont have choice; ripping us off at every opportunity and now ringing us up and asking us to come back.... R.I.P. BT !0

I was raring to go, zapper at the ready and scrolling down to reach my bete noire, only to find they are not listed. OK there are some predictable aunt sallies at the top like Tesco and AOL and poor old Railtrack. The last taking a few hits because the train operators who really mess the passengers about are not included either.
But when it comes to a company whose staff know you owe them a living; who cannot design ramps and roof heights and even parking spaces that cover the range of vehicles that might use them; who charge rip-off prices and who buy up cheaper local competitors then National Car Parks takes the biscuit.
Oh well, I will spare Railtrack and vote for Virgin instead.0 -
Why aren't Advanced Hair Studio on the list? There are hoards of disgruntled customers despite Advanced's best efforts to silence them. They have paid thousands for what is supposed to be a high-tech strand by strand hair replacement treatment but end up with a cheap hair piece. They have paid thousands for a remarkable regrowth treatment which is not all that it is cracked up to be as it is minoxidil combined with a laser that doesn't work.
Add them to the list! :T0
