Needed to go to the PO to put money in my account and post a letter to DDs school so I braved it.
Not too many people about and social distancing being used. The walk would do is good anyway. Didn't let DD come in with me I made her stand clear of the store while I went in and then we walked back. Met DDs dad on the way back so we spoke to him at a distance, but I'm glad she had the opportunity to see him even if it was only a few minutes.
Absolutely freezing out so heating on the minute we got in, both of us washed and changed. Clothes are now in the WM and we are both back in jammiesDD fixed herself a snack while I was washing door handles and switches.
I'm going to do a HHC starting at 4 if anyone wants to join me?I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged12 -

Hi all x
Carried on with the LR and I ....
Dusted tables, window ledge, TV unit and everything on it.
Plumped cushions.
Stopped and made dinner and then ate it!
Washed up again then threw sponge out, New one tomorrow (does a little dance)
Wiped down the bunkers
Emptied WM into TD and reloaded it
Emptied hoover then hoovered LR and hall
I'm going to make myself a cuppa and watch tv for a bit.

Good evening
I did some more of the patio, then had some lunch. I was inspired by MK to tackle some paperwork! I have a box under the side table that has paperwork from a previous party plan job - at least 2 box files full!! I have started to shred it, but it is taking some time as I need to take out the staples. I needed more shredded paper for Lottie the Hottie anyway!
I also walked the dog, and then trimmed his hair. He doesn't like it and DH normally does it - but he only ever does half!! Always starts on the same bit, and never finishesI just tried to trim the bit he doesn't do...
I have cooked dinner, and spoken to DD1 & my sis. I am going to chill now
Round how did you get on today?

Good evening ladies xx
Goodi, kazw, Molly, ionafan, jojo, and Fayolle xx
I asked for the Annual Leave as soon as I got in this morning and it has been authorised. I finished work at 4.30pm and do not go back until 14th April woot woot. Ten days off with proper pay was preferable to furlough ( Goodi - I don't think that was an option, redeployment was the buzz word in the office). Kazw - I didn't have any problem getting the time off - better to give me time off now when it's quiet, than to wait until we're being hit by a tsunami backlog of work, which is what will all think will happen when things settle down. (They will settle down, won't they?)
Molly - I am stressed, I think the whole world is, and I have been off work with stress in the past, but I think Annual Leave is the better option for now. PS I'm not expecting to have lost any weight this week - WI is tomorrow and my eating has been like my head - all over the place!
waves to ionafan xx
jojo - I think you are right, they are frightened that I'm still carrying a lurgy, and I wished they had been upfront about it. I'm not daft (some would disagree) I can see when I am being socially distanced and others are not so much. And I did say anything was preferable to working with MM - who has now left by the way!!!!! I think the 'fright' was heightened to alarming proportions today when Matthew Hancock described his Covid 19 symptoms as though his throat was full of glass and I piped up with 'well, I guess I did have it then! That's how my throat was' I hastily pointed out that I returned to work on Day 18 and symptom free. I've mentioned to DS that it is highly likely that I have already had the virus but even so I am following the guidelines to keep myself and others safe. He seems brighter tonight.
hugs to Fayolle xx
Thank you all for giving me a safe place to haver. xx I'm a lot more settled now I have TEN DAYS at home (did I already mention that?) I'm hoping to get stuck in and do the jobs that didn't get done last month because I was lurgified. I'm looking forward to flying
I filled the bird bath tonight - I'm going to give it a good scrub this week.
Sweet dreams
Rxx
