Roundtuit - how about going off sick with stress - your work are putting you under undue stress in my opinion hugs xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.12 -
Just wanted to send big hugs to you Dancemum, I really hope you get some support soon xx
Showered, dressed and fed - can I go back to bed now?! X13 -
Round 1 done - took longer than it should, but I have paid a bill and updated a spreadsheet too.
Round 2
Hang out washing
Empty DW
Clean next section of patio
Off I go!

Lazy/quiet day here, but I have updated our spending spreadsheets.
Lunch is sorted but going to be late due to conf calls

Ok - so I am cheating! The last part of Round 2 was a biggy, so I am having a cuppa first, and watching another episode on Marie Kondo 😃 I am also running the DW on empty with some vinegar to give it a clean.
EDIT: O-M-G!! I would say I am better at folding fitted sheets than MK!! 😇😂😱11 -
Morning all
[Waves] to round - hope you get quality time at home next week xx
Big (((hugs))) to dancemum xx and asb xx and anyone else feeling down
Weeding sounds good, kaz - I'm sure your landlord won't mind
Yesterday I cleared the strawberry bed and hatched a plan for a competition/challenge for all my grandchildrenI also planted more seeds: salad leaves and pea shoots
This morning I have
- removed DH's cacti and a couple of my succulents from the DR window sill and put them on DH's bedroom window sill
- removed the geraniums from the kitchen windowsill; discovered more ants nesting in one of the pots, so sprayed everything in sight with St*rdr*ps and put the plants outside before I watered them thoroughly - hopefully this will deter any remaining ants before I bring them back indoors later
- cleaned the kitchen window and sill
- ditto DR
- had a video conversation with DS1, DGD1+2 and their dog who were getting their exercise climbing up the very big hill behind their house
- had a chat from the study window to friends from DH's church who were coming along the lane and wondering which was our house
- FUPA all clean, aired washing
Now I must make some phonecalls, write a letter, and get on with my friends family history - the end is in sight
This afternoon I want to plant more seeds before I take Rosie for her walk, and Mr S is delivering around teatime. I shall have flour!!! so I will be able to make a cake every week (each lasts us for 8 days - double portion on Sunday!) which will please DH, who has eaten all his stock of SW bars [wicked laugh]
Have a good day, all xxx12 -
Hi all x
I've been a bit slow to get moving today. Had a terrible sleep last night.
Decided to start on the Scullery first, opened the cutlery drawer and there was bits of sawdust all over it, must have worked loose from somewhere so I've emptied it and cleaned it and put everything back. I've shuffled some stuff around in the cupboards too that wasn't working for me. Just stopping for a cuppa then I'll do some more.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged11 -
Round, is it possible that they're aware that you've just been ill and are a bit frightened?
And in any case, it's better than sharing an office with Moaning Myrtle, isn't it?
You could point out to DS that whilst you're working in a 'scary' place that you've already been ill, so it's not something he needs to worry about because you're obviously going to be sensible?
.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll12 -

20 rows left of the grandbeasts blanket .. I do love it but will be glad to see the back of it. I then have one to knit for my school friend who is expecting her first child in August.. after many IVF attempts!
