One more day of work until a whole fortnight of not being told they've never had the codes/there's no work set/it's too hard whilst colleagues compete in ever increasing circles of anxiety for the task of sending a single email to appear busy and important.
I'm getting wheezier again. Maybe I should see whether the GP will 'sort of' see me? It's 19 days now.
Himself has vacuumed and remade the bed with a quilt on top of the topper but under the sheet to add extra cushioning. He's now making calzone, allegedly. He's also going to be dealing with the kitchen afterwards.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll10 -
A long but productive day at work. Now it’s 2 weeks off from that job.
Since I got in, I have...
Washed my hair and yanked it into some semblance of straightness so that I won’t frighten dogs and young children who might see me at the window when walking past and think it is Halloween already.
Driven DD to the surgery to pick up her prescription. I felt so guilty going out, even though I knew it was an allowable trip, and the surgery is a 15 minute car ride and 3 villages away. I swear that I was getting filthy looks from all the walkers out, but that may have been paranoia setting in.
Put the top coat of paint on the repurposed chest of drawers, hoping that it can make it up to the spare room at the weekend for a bit of a sorting / flingage session.
Cooked a new-to-us recipe for dinner. It’s a keeper, as it was tasty. WULTD, swept kitchen floor.
Joined in the 8pm clapping, with the village rustling up quite a din.
Now on the sofa, catching up with 3 pages of the thread and hoping that DH might make me a cuppa.12 -
Good evening 😁
I completed my littke list from earlier, plus hanging out, getting in and folding laundry, WULTD, cooked dinner and spent an hour at the allotment weeding the strawberry patch. DH washed up after dinner, so that's one less thing to do in the morning 😊
I am currently watching the Marie Kondo programme on Netfl!x in the hope that it inspires me to sort out my pit! 😂 That woman is a bit wacko!! 🤣
Sleep well everyone x11 -
DS2 vacuumed the ground floor voluntarily (life skill lesson)
Dropped of some colouring sheets on doorstep of a isolating family nearby on our walk. It started to rain so we headed back
Had an iPad thrown at me and my arm pomaded. Hope I can get him help soon.
DH took recycling bin round to the front ready for collection and noticed lots of fly tipping near our garage.
Had another online meeting whilst DS2 ate his tea
made and uploaded some mazes for the small dancersClapped at 8pm. More turned out this weekFeeling overly lethargic

Morning all.
I have done the dailies and first of two wash loads is in the machine. Also emptied all bins. Just need to put out recycling and walk the dogs after paid stuff. About to do physio.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
Morning xxx
waves to ionafan xx Don't worry - I'm here
I had very little to do at work yesterday - and this is not the time to be sat twiddling your thumbs, watching the wall and wondering if you'd be better off staying at home! Today promises to be long and boring as I will be totally alone in the 'new' office - not a bad thing considering the current circumstances, but with my colleagues all still together in the other office it really does feel like I've been singled out and that is triggering all sorts of 'not fitting in', 'not wanted', carp which is never far from the surface. Manager insists it's not personal. Hmmm.
I also have DS slowly falling off a cliff edge - and, although he hasn't said it, my return to work coincided with his sudden plummet. I think losing his job last year did more at him than even I realised and this isolation from GF, on-line trolling, and now worrying about me working from a building where front line workers are in and out all day has pushed him over the edge. I can tell that he is trying hard and GF and another friend are supporting him as best they can.
No wonder I'm a ruddy weeble! I think we should have turned right instead of left when we left the back of the wardrobe piggers - this is definitely not Narnia.
Anyhoo after much tossing and turning and fretting and werriting through the night - I am going to ask if I can take Annual Leave next week. For three days Leave I will get ten days off. It seems a little crazy when I've just returned to work, but I don't feel like I had Annual Leave last month as I was ill all the time I was off. I want to be at home with DS and my flyfriends. I can ask, shrugs shoulders.
And breathe... birds will be fed, recycling will be put out.
Hugs to all. Stay safe.

IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme14 -
Morning all
Bed made, clothes picked up
Bathroom wiped down
Hoovered through most of the house
Cleaned and reloaded pellet stoves
WM on
Made coffee for OH so I'm enjoying a cup and a wander around the internet. Plan is maybe a bit of dot to dot in the kitchen but OH finishes work early on Fridays so want to be ready for the weekend rather than in mid clean. Kitchen is the target for next week, it's fairly tidy but cupboards need sorting and it needs a deep clean. Going to enjoy a quieter day. So I'm off to find hand cream and cuticle oil
Sticks, spoons and hugs to all, be kind and look after yourselves

Tweeting, scrabbling and candy crushing as I drink my coffee in bed. I did let the bunnies out...they are getting a tremendous amount of garden time which they must be loving.

OK I'm up, dressed etcWM is onRound it sounds like a good idea to ask for time off, I hope they are understanding and say yes.Off to text my rental owner if it is ok if I weed the front garden, I have no idea what arrangements there are for the garden, so no harm in asking also gives me something to do, and still be 'at home'Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
